WOOHOO!!! After daily case status errors, today I logged on and it is my Noa-2 day! Na, na-na-na-na, na-na-na-na, na-na-na, na-na-na!

Best of wishes to any out there still waiting.

I can update my timeline now.

05/04/09 -- K1 visa, NOA-1

09/18/09 -- K1, NOA-2

01/26/09 -- Interview passed in Moscow

03/02/10 -- POE, JFK airport

05/23/10 -- Wedding!

11/16/10 -- 2-year green card approved

04/01/13 -- 10-year green card approved

11/23/13 -- N-400 mailed

Back to packet 3 paperwork...It's making me stressed but it's better than doing nothing. The problem now is I'm trying to do everything all at once and my brain feels like it will implode.

Packet 3 Received : 2009-10-07

Interview ... WAIVED? Never heard of this, but they didn't even interview him, just told him pick up his visa the next day.

Current Status: Interview ... waived ... I guess :) They just took his fingerprints and documents and told him everything was in order and he should pick up his visa tomorrow! WOW

I can't believe it's only been 7 months since we filed ... seems like an eternity!

We have been APPROVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went on the website today to check and it wasn't showing me the option to check my status online, so then I called the number and the agent said it was approved today!

Thank you all for the advice, now on to the part 2 of our journey with NVC...

Met my Fiancee: 1998 when i was a tutor in a High

1998 December: Became friends and started talking

2000 : Lost Contact and never met again

2003: Traveled to the States and still not talking

2005: Traveled back home and we met again ( serious here)

2007: I made up my mind that she is "the one"

2007 December 27th: Proposed to her

2009 May 12th: sent in the 1-129F for her

2009 May 19th: Receipt of NOA1

Sept 15th : NOA2 Approved email received

Sept 22nd: NOA2 Hard Copy received

Sept 16th: Package sent to NVC

Sept 17th: Package Received at NVC

Sept 21st: Package sent to Local Embassy.

Sept 26th : NVC Approval Letter received in the mail

Sept 28th: Package Delivered at Local Embassy (Lagos Nigeria)....Signed by Ben Obi by 10.50am.....yahooo..time to get ready for interview

NOV 20TH: Interview Date by 7.am...too early and i wonder what my woman will do since she is like 6hrs from the Location

MEDICAL: Done on 12th

Interview: PASSED on 20th without stress and not much questions......Glory be to God

Visa Picked up: Nov. 27th

Wedding: Dec 31st..... Got wedded and was fabulous

January 16th..... Wife entered US with me through IAD ,,,,,,NO EAD received

January 20th..... Got our Marriage License

February 14th .....Civil Marriage Date

So to update everyone, I just received my vaccination records from the Department of Health, and it looks like most of the ones I needed, I'd already gotten when I was in high school. Thank God for that! I'm really afraid of needles.

Anyway, glad to hear that there have been more approvals today! Good luck going through NVC and future steps!

My best advice is contact someone on VJ that is from your country... if you have trouble finding one let me know, and I will help you search... but after NVC is really variable because it depends on the countrie's policy... even among us... for the Canadians (they have to wait for a package and send it back to the embassy there) for Venezuelans (my case, we just send an email to get the appointment and they email all the information that you bring to the interview there is no need of sending anything to the embassy before).... So your best source is first go to the US embassy's website in the country of your SO, and then verfiy information and doubts with people from that same country that went through the K1 process...

I can see your timeline if I go to your profile, but not on your posts. I also was wondering how some people show their timeline on their posts ... it seems a different format... anyway, you need to update your timeline in your profile ... just find where it says "my assistant" on the main page and then there is a drop-window with the option to edit your timeline. As for showing it in the forums, I don't know ... can anyone help?

Congrats to all who got their NOA2's today! I'm pretty bummed.....my timeline now says "between August 30, 2009 and September 15, 2009" and no touches so I'm doubting I'm going to see my NOA2 this week.

My NOA1 date is the same as yours, although I've had 3 touches in a row and still nothing.

I've set myself up to get it by the end of next week. If I don't then I'll just have to wait longer, but that's what I'm hoping for. I'm forcing myself not to check online either. I checked once when I get home from work, I figure checking isn't going to make come any faster!

I hope everyone has a good weekend! Let's hope I am wrong and we get our approvals today!!
