Hey 2Big!! welcome!!

We are here for this hopefully not too long journey... so feel free to ask questions, if you have them....

My timeline is on my signature...Also, please input your timeline, if you have not done it already, when you get your NOA1 which you should be getting by the end of next week at the latest, according to estimates. Also you can get the receipt number from the check copy once is cleared, so you dont have to wait for the NOA1 to get it. Good luck on your journey!!!

hey guys i have seen they already approved one from the people who applied in may that does not make sence unless they know someone in immigration my receipt number still does not work does yours work ty

That is not necessarily true, there people who have expedited cases because they belong to the armed forces, or have a special case...or sometimes just luck...that is not normal in terms of number of people applying, but it does happen...you can see that the same thing happens in other months/centers etc...

Regarding your case...USCIS has issues with their system, so you can always call USCIS and once you give them your case number, it wont show, but they will transfer you to a higher level representative, who can access you case eventhough you could not, who will basically tell you: we got your application X day... and you should be approved or denied withing 6 months of that date...

I hope this information helps!! Good luck on your journey!!!

I suspect that the person that has that time line entered his NOA2 where the NOA1 should go or something. I do not see any expedite in their time line. I guess, time will tell.

Good luck May!

I take that back.. I just read where they did file for an expedite.

I did a search on their posts. That one May filer from VSC. It's a military expedite since her fiance might be deployed in October. So far, based on Igor's a few Feb VSC filers have come through although the majority seems to be focused on Jan for now, while clearing up backlog in December.

Still can't access the USCIS tracking website. By the way, did any of you receive email notification on your NOA1? I'm trying to figure out if these guys are more focused on snail mail while email and other online activities lag behind. We never got out email for NOA1.

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

04/14/17: Judicial oath ceremony

I might be mistaken with my statement, but I believe that the emails come from after registering on the USCIS website. So, due to the fact that none of the VSC fillers cases are in the website, I do not think we will be getting any emails...for now... last time I called to the USCIS customer service, I was told that within the next month or so our cases should be online. I do see that the people from CSC have their cases uploaded into the website system, but these are two totally different offices. Regarding the approvals, it looks like they are looking to clearing that back log like you said from people from Nov-Jan... let's hope that they all get approved soon, so that they can start with Feb, and eventually with ours!

I just wanted to say that I filed at VSC, NOA1 date Jan 23 and I registered on the USCIS website and have been able to see my case since day 1, so I think the problem with some people not seeing their cases there may be hit or miss. I do know also that some people who have been approved lately, never received their email notice and the website still shows their case pending even though they received their NOA2 letter already. So I think there are certainly some issues with their website in general or maybe they are just slow to update it sometimes if they are back logged or something, just a guess really. Anyway, I wish everyone luck and speed on your journey! ~Jan~
