Honestly, I think you just have to keep calling NVC to find out if your file got sent to the embassy. It's likely based on luck. Hopefully, yours and mine won't take 35 days, like someone else's did......I would really like to be with my fiance by December.

Which email address did you use Eltemp? Just the general customer feedback one or?

Thanks.

Hey Jasmin&Travis,

Please use this email VSC.Ncscfollowup@dhs.gov and here is a copy of the email I sent:

"Department of Homeland Security

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services

Vermont Service Center

Attn: I-129F,

Case Information:

Case Number: EACXXXXXXXXXX

Notice Date: 05/06/2009

USC:

Fiancée:

First of all, I hope you are doing great. My name . I submitted an application for my fiancée, , which was processed on the date shown above. Since, early June, I called the USCIS customer service helpline in order to enquire about a reason why the case I filled was not on the public website. I was told on that occasion that the issue would be resolved in a couple of weeks, due to the fact that the USCIS officer sent a request to the "Help desk" for my case to be added. After not having the issue resolved, I called in July and August with the same result. As of today, September 9th, 2009, the case I filled is still not available on the website. Following USCIS procedure, I have written this email, per suggestion from the customer service representative on my latest call to USCIS helpline in early September. I would like to respectfully ask if there is any particular issue with my case being that the approximate estimated processing time for these type of applications is five (5) months, and my case is very close to that amount of days, and I still do not have access to my case on the website or any other information about the status of my case. Thanking you in advance for your time and assistance.

Regards,"

I hope this helps, it did for me... at least to get it on the website, something I had been trying forever!!! good luck!

Thanks so much! I really hope this will help for me too. I've just gotten Travis to email them including all the phone call details.

Fingers crossed for us!

Good luck, Jasmin&Travis! Hope it works out for you, too!

Geez, I can't believe they've already approved a couple of June filers when May isn't even half-done. Well, at least there are a couple more hours left during the work day. Plus, the good news is that some of the officers work over the weekend!

Looking forward to hearing about more May approvals. I'll be rooting for you :dance::dance::thumbs:

We are May filers, received NOA2 August 31, and today a letter from NVC saying our petition has been forwarded to Napoli. I don't know why we received ours ahead of schedule, but I'm happy, and hoping the best for all fellow May filers who still don't have NOA2. Buona fortuna a tutti (Good luck to all!)

We just received this email from USCIS. Hopefully this'll mean we'll be able to see it online.

Eltemp, Thanks so much for your suggestion and information. We phoned the NCSC before we emailed to see if there was anything else we could do to see our case status online or anyone else we could contact and we were told no!

Good Morning Travis,

I have updated your case in our electronic systems. You should now be able to retrieve the status of your pending case on-line. Please allow four days for the update to occur. If after four days you are still unable to access the status, please contact our office again.

For future status inquiries of a petition or application filed at this Center you may want to utilize our National Customer Service Center by calling 1-800-375-5283. If you would like to obtain forms, filing instructions, case status or schedule an appointment with your local office, please visit our website at www.uscis.gov. You must use the InfoPass Appointment Scheduler prior to visiting your local office.

Thank you,

Barbara

Wow, no activity on the May forum for more than 24 hours! Maybe it means we have been enjoying our weekends and not obsessing about USCIS for awhile! For me, I have to make a conscious effort to think about something else.

Thanks, sweetgurl, for posting that e-mail address. I used it to make an inquiry about my still-invisible online case status.

Hoping this is the week that we all get our NOA-2. Go, VSC, go!

05/04/09 -- K1 visa, NOA-1

09/18/09 -- K1, NOA-2

Hey Jeshel,

It is funny they exactly put we are working on April 3, 2009 cases... which is exactly 5 months after the date of the letter... anyhow... we know how messed up that system is when there is people from March who are still waiting on their approvals!... I got a letter myself but it was about a change of address... I got excited when I saw the envelope, to see just a white sheet of paper :devil: ...anyhow... this week it's gonna be a good one for us :innocent:
