Good Morning People!!

Today is one of those days... where I really really REALLY want my freaking NOA2.... I have not gotten a response from VSC since I sent the email (that kind of bothers me even more). But also I have positive thoughts about today being the day.... the Yellow Jackets will win tonight and I'll get my email with my approval!! ... wish me luck

Hey Jasmin&Travis,

To be honest I am kind of loosing hope that I'll be approved within the regular time...the reason is that I sent an email to USCIS specifically explaining that even though I had called to have this issue fixed, to have my case to show online, the officer simply replied: your case is pending and use the website to check your status. So he/she was telling me to check the status of a case I can't see on the website  plus they already approving people from June... and many many from mid/late May... so I am happy that a lot of people are being approved, but with the same token... I don't understand what is so complicated about my case that has not been approved yet...and I could not even imagine how the people who filled in March, April, etc...are coping with this annoying experience, which is just one of at least 4 different processes. .. but hopefully I am wrong... today is just a bad/frustrating day...

We got approved!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hopefully yours will come, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

that is awesome!, congrats!!!!

Hey eltemp, don't lose hope I know it’s so frustrating especially if you can't see your case online. There are others that have been approved without their online case ever working. Hopefully, we can get approved soon. ;)

Hey Guys,

Thanks for the encouraging words... but I guess is just one of those days where I just don't have patience about the lack of logic about the process. Anyhow... I'm off to support my Yellow Jackets beat Clemson... and some Steelers nailing the Titans (not that I really care about either team wining this one, but anything that takes my mind off USCIS is good)... take care guys... hopefully we all get our NOA2 soon...

Eltemp and LilMermaid,

I am stuck in the same position and get pretty discouraged some days. Today I made about my 4th call to the "Tier 2" USCIS officer. He told me I should probably here something in 1 or 2 months. I pointed out that one of my friends had the same NOA-1 date as mine and he got his approval in August. He said my case is close to the beginning of the month, and somehow that makes it less predictable when it will be processed. He said he would send another e-mail requesting that my case status be made available online. He said, in many cases he thinks as soon as an action is taken on the case, it triggers it to be viewable on the online case status system. He did not think that whether or not a case is viewable on the online status system, has no bearing on the processing time for the case. If this all sounds pretty vague, that is exactly how it struck me as he was saying these things.

A few weeks here or there will probably not affect the timeline for immigration, but my fiancee and I have decided we will meet the next time in Moscow when she has her interview. I have been really hoping this would happen during November at the latest, but now I am having doubts. And, I don't know if I will be able to travel in December. So, I am not at all pleased with the situation at USCIS.

I am happy for the people in mid to late May with their NOA-2s, but feel pretty crappy for being passed over thus far.

05/04/09 -- K1 visa, NOA-1

09/18/09 -- K1, NOA-2

01/26/09 -- Interview passed in Moscow

03/02/10 -- POE, JFK airport

05/23/10 -- Wedding!

11/16/10 -- 2-year green card approved

04/01/13 -- 10-year green card approved

11/23/13 -- N-400 mailed
