hi there - i'm one of the May filers and sent in my I-129F petition 2 weeks ago - my NOA1 is dated May 1, 2009. is anyone having problems accessing their case status online? i've entered my receipt number and it doesn't recognize the case at all. when i spoke with USCIS they informed me it's a technical glitch on just the web site (that the case is indeed in their system). i'm just wondering if other people are having issues checking/registering their case online as well or if their excuse was just to get me off the phone.

thanks, and good luck to all!

PS - fyi re: NOA1's not yet received. before your check is cashed the USCIS prints your receipt number (case number) on the back of your check. so if your bank provides an image of your cashed checks online then you can access your case number and know that one has been assigned.

Hey! yes apparently there is some delay on the case being available online...I got my letter this week but the check was cashed last week, and my case is not on the USCIS yet... so we'll just have to wait....

Check was cashed today, 12 May. They got it 8th.

Wheeeeeeeeeeee! No NOA1 yet.

Its ridiculous how such simply things mean so much to us. I mean, they're just cashing a check for crying out loud, not giving us a free ticket to be with our SO.

Mine got cashed yesterday too!!! Hopefully NOA1 is today or tomorrow! Fingers crossed for both of us!

Congrats on the checks!!! lets hope for quick NOA1s.... good luck guys..

I have the image, does the case number start with EAC? Also, what is the website to check the status online?

It does.... it should be a total of 13 characters so EAC + "10" digits.... and the website is http://www.uscis.gov in there you can see a link that says check online status of your case... click on it, and type your case number; keep in mind, that for most, not to say all of us, that applied within the past few weeks our cases are not up yet....so if it does not show up, dont stress about it... good luck!

I received my NOA1 today...dated May 8th. Good luck to everyone else!

Now the wait begins, glad you guys are here to pull me through it!

Hey Everyone.... I called USCIS today to ask why our cases are not on the system yet... and I got my call scalated to the next level... and the person very politely told me that my case was in the systems but the regular representative have access to the same system as we do, and in that one they are having issues! So, rest assured that your cases are being worked on.....

I hope this information helps and takes some of the anxiety of seeing your case online.... I know I am.....

Good luck people....

Yeah, our case can't be viewed online either. We got our NOA1 on the 16th after sending it on the 6th and it reached them on the 8th. The NOA1 was dated 8th though so that's what we have on our timeline since its based on USCIS time and not USCIS + USPS time.

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

04/14/17: Judicial oath ceremony

I've heard Merida's really nice. I'm hoping to go there in July with my fiancee and his family. It'd be great to help eachother out along the way - good luck! :star:
