They never said anything about 45 days to us. When we called yesterday she said she would authorize the address to be changed. I think they have a policy to not give two people the same information. lol

They told us to wait 45 days. Ours would be up by next Friday (Sept 11).

Yeah...we are going to wait a bit and call back again to make sure it was changed. First call they say they can't change it over the phone and then the next time she says she will change it over the phone....and this was an actual immigration officer we spoke to each time because the first level couldn't even see us in the system.

Hi eltemp...i have also never been able to see my case on line. We are using a lawyer to help with the processing of our K-1 and he called them and they told him that we shouldn't worry about it because our case is filed and being worked on. I'm not too sure if he put in a service request (my fiance deals with him), but up until now i still can't see my case. It kind of sucks because i feel like i'm at the mercy of my lawyer and i keep telling my fiance to make sure he keeps in touch with him...i have nightmares that we have already received our NOA2 and he just hasn't told us yet!

TiNa...our time is coming soon my friend...it's going to be a good week...i feel it :)

Hey Toronto Nonie,

Well I feel you pain, my fiancee tells me not to loose my sleep about it, but because I've dealt with USCIS for so long, I am a naturalized citizen... so I know how tedious and incredibly anoying this process can be.... where as this is her first experience with any immigration process. Now, regarding the lawyer... I also think that you have to stay on top of things because even though you pay him/her to keep track and do everything on your case... the only person who really cares about being approved is you and your SO... therefore, whatever it takes... just make sure he/she is doing his/her job...Now, about the service request thing, in my opinion is just BS... I've been told the same thing about 5 times... since May... and still nothing... so to be honest I hope I get the letter soon, for like yesterday  , and that way I dont care about updates in whatever timeframe they say it will be there...

Good luck to everyone!!

Hey Guys,

Question: How long after doing the address change online it took to get an email response? or to see your case online???

I got my case online the day after my fiance changed his address online. Then we got another touch and then nothing. It's been more than a month now. We have to wait until next Friday to call them (sigh).
