Tina,

Yeah they said they could not confirm the change of address online. But Leo called twice on the same day hoping that the other person would say something different cause I warned him USCIS hotline is often called misinformation line for a reason.

Based on posts I've read on VJ the same things happens at some places like DMV. Where they don't know the rules, or their stuff they seemingly make something up, the clerks anyway. Bobby Umit made a post recently about a DMV clerk who didn't know the law trying to screw them over with their own made up rules. He had to correct them and insist on a supervisor to get things done.

So the trick is to get to someone that knows their ######. I keep hearing on how you should insist to talk to a supervisor to get a real answer to things.

I'm guessing the two calls he made, made a difference cause we couldn't see ourselves online until the call and he bugged them so much they sent a follow up email. Probably him asking for a supervisor made them buck up a bit.

We got a email confirming our address change and got touched on the 25th of June. Congrads Leo&Farrah :dance: , so happy for you and sending many positive thoughts for the rest of your journey :star:

Good karma ftw!

Leo&Farah,

We saw our case online without the call, but just didn't get anything. I guess we'll just have to wait until September 11.........fingers crossed!

Good morning, May filers!

Here's to good luck to us this week! Yesterday, when Roland told me that the person just told him to call back after 45 days, it made me feel a little depressed, but then I thought it's only the beginning. At the very least, we'll be able to have an excuse next Friday (Sept 11).

Anyway, today's a new day! It would be great to see more May approvals, myself included!

Have a good one!

Hey Guys!!

I agree with Tina...also on a side note for those who do not have their cases online, like us...I called AGAIN today to see if we could have it fixed...and they told me the same thing, after I told her that since June I have been calling to get this fixed. So, she said: oh sorry about that! I sent an email to the helpdesk and they should have it fixed within a couple of weeks... so hopefully I'll received the darn letter before a "couple of weeks" ...Question: anyone has gotten their case uploaded to the website after a service request??? bc I know that Tina and Leo&Farah got theirs after their address change... but I'm just wondering if they even do something with a service request!!

Plus check this out: I asked her if I needed to write down some information about the service request according to new USCIS guidelines for claims and stuff, and she said: no, you just have to wait! first time I hear that one  .... anyway.... let's hope we see a BUNCH of approvals today and upcoming days!!!

Hi eltemp...i have also never been able to see my case on line. We are using a lawyer to help with the processing of our K-1 and he called them and they told him that we shouldn't worry about it because our case is filed and being worked on. I'm not too sure if he put in a service request (my fiance deals with him), but up until now i still can't see my case. It kind of sucks because i feel like i'm at the mercy of my lawyer and i keep telling my fiance to make sure he keeps in touch with him...i have nightmares that we have already received our NOA2 and he just hasn't told us yet!

TiNa...our time is coming soon my friend...it's going to be a good week...i feel it :)

Well as of this morning we can finally see our case online. Yesterday we phoned because we changed the beneficiary's address but hadn't heard nothing about it. They told us that it hadn't been updated as of yet and also hadn't been been assigned to an immigration officer but that she would send a request to the helpdesk to get it in the system. Hopefully since they pulled it to enter it they also assigned it to someone. Time will tell.
