Hey Tina,

Thanks so much for the positive vibes...it's been a challenging week for me and i needed a vote of confidence. It's good to hear that Montreal is on average 2 months, because i read that it was an average of 4 months! I also noticed that as of the last few weeks, we have been moving up quickly on Igor's list :)

Enjoy the rest of your week and let's keep the positivity going!!!

Hi toronto nonie,

The truth is I am trying to keep a positive mindset. I'm just a little bit frustrated now because we still haven't received a hard copy notification from USCIS indicating that they got our change of address and updated our system. All we got were two touches. The weirdest thing is that most people I've talked to who have changed their addresses online never got a touch, but did get their notification in the mail within a week.

Roland feels it's not necessary to call them until the 45 day period is over (sigh). Unfortunately, I can't call them because I am the beneficiary, so I have to sit and wait patiently until Sept. 11. Oh well...

Anyway, hope you have a good one and hang in there!

Hello everyone.... I am starting this topic, "a little early", for the people who will fill out in May 2009 to the VSC for K-1... good luck to everyone....

Hey! I'm a little late but just wanted to say I filed May 22nd! VSC currently says 5months! yay they are on time. Hopefully they stay that way.

Hey everyone,

Do you know what's pretty weird. There are still some outstanding September/October/November 2008 filers who have not received our NOA2. How many of those just never updated their timelines? If VSC is indeed more up-to-date, then igor's list can't be totally accurate, can it? Anyway, just a question to think about.

Most of them I suspect are those put under AP. I know of a case where this VJ member has not received their NOA2 after 2 years because of AP. =\

Some maybe forgot to update their timelines but theres alot that are just stuck in AP for months.

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

04/14/17: Judicial oath ceremony

Leo&Farah,

Have you changed your address online or over the phone yet? If you have, did you get any touches or something from USCIS?

No not yet since we currently dont have a permanent address as of yet. It's either we just rely on mail forwarding by USPS to a temporary address and change the address once we have a perm one to not confuse USCIS just yet by changing it twice or confuse them and change it twice and run the risk of losing something to TWO addresses.

Wow, that sounds pretty complicated. Anyway, hope you get a permanent address soon!

Let's hope today will be a good day and more April filers will be approved soon so they can start on us :)

Hey everyone,

So here's what I was thinking. According to VJ, March is half done and I believe that that is why they have started in on April. There are a total of 114 filers in April, 14 have been approved which leaves about 43 applications left to be approved to reach the halfway mark. If they reach a goal of 6-7 (maybe more?) a week, we could see our applications processed in mid to late September. What do you think?

i agree...i'm thinking late September as well. The only thing is that we have to remember that there are a total of 114 filers for April according to those who have found this website and created a timeline. There could be more that we don't know about :( STILL, late September is a strong possibility and i'm going to stick to believing it.

Yup, I'm sure there are probably more March filers who are not on VJ, but when I look on the VJ graphs, March filers are 50% approved and April filers are already getting approvals, so I am sticking by the trend that once the April VJer's are at 50%, we May filers are going to start getting our NOA2's. Again, they might start mid-month and jumping around (like they are doing for April filers). Oh well, at least we'll see how it goes next month!

It's so quiet in VSC now. No approvals today? Last Thursday and Friday were booming, and now it's bleh. Anyway, hope the approvals keep coming...

Hm, so here's another way of calculating how many more days of wait time:

According to berkeley's list, so far 10 April filers have been approved. We're currently #213 as of today. If that rate keeps going on, then 213/10 = 21.3 more days of wait time. That may be wishful thinking but it does make me feel better.

Anyway, that's my two cents for the afternoon.

Good morning, May filers!

Here's a stats site that looks interesting:

http://cse.ssl.berkeley.edu/igor/vjdata/stats.aspx

It definitely gives me hope for the first May NOA2 in 3 weeks or so :)
