Hi everyone,

How are you all doing? I was just checking the NOA2 timelines and it seems that our estimated time has been pushed back a month now from September to October. Hope that's not true!

Have a good one!

Hey Guys,

I agree with you Tina! I am starting to get desperate and angry at VSC, according to the trend shown here and at USCIS's website less people are applying for any type fo visas due to the recession (and USCIS says that they are processing way more than what they are getting). Now, somehow the people at VSC I guess are now taking more time to do what it should be faster because they have smaller workload coming everyday (since April they are still working in January, and May was just like a dead month)...plus everytime one calls to the customer service center...it's a totally different excuse on why our cases are not online or how long will it take to get approved etc... And then if one reads what is happening to many people who applied in December, January, etc... where either USCIS or their Senators give stupid excuses on why things are not as they should....

Now with all this BS I hope I'll be done before the end of the year....

Actually, we might still be done by December 2009. That's all I'm hoping for right now. *Fingers still crossed on that*.

Hey Guys,

Being one of the "lucky ones" whose case is not on the website, I call from time to time to find out the status of my case. Yesterday, I talked to this really nice and eloquent lady who told me a lot of interesting information. She mentioned that as of right now they are trying to finish all the backlog, which is why we are seeing all the people from Nov-Jan who where left behind... being approved. Also, she mentioned that they are receiving way less applications than what they expected to the point that a lot of the agents are getting cases from other types of visas because they do not have anything to do... so according to her, they should process ours in no longer than 5 months maybe way earlier because of the number of applications being so low compared to other months and years...

Lets hope that what she said will happen and we all get our NOA2's by the end of September if not earlier  would be great

Good luck to y'all

Tell me about it. CSC is already going through May filers, and VSC still hasn't even touched half of the March filers.

Oh well, hang in there! Fingers are still crossed on getting the visa by December!

Hey Guys,

This, the whole USCIS VSC time to respond, is starting to be more stupid than anything! the whole timelime.....because there are people waiting on 180 days! .... and no NOA2 yet... and for a lot of January Fillers they got approved +/- 90-110 days... then May came along and they just got lazy, it looked like they did not work the whole month!! not that is surprising or anything!.... Now June comes and January fillers picks up and we are almost starting August... and still February people being approved...:angry:

So my thing is... if one of the agents told me that they do not have a lot of work because less people are applying....why the !@#!@# are we getting back to the 5, 6, and 7 month waiting for our NOA2? ... As you can see I'm very unhappy about how things are turning... because if they take this long with people from February.. what is there to expect for us! Plus, it's even more maddening when the CSC are working so much faster is even sad to compare the two places!

Are you sure the agent wasn't from CSC?

Well...that agent might have been from CSC, but the thing is that according to the USCIS if there is a big difference between the centers, the workload should be transfered to the other ones so that they can even things out across all agencies.... and this is true because my relatives petition for other cases have been transfered for this reason... but anyhow... today I'm just bitter about it!

Yeah, it really looks to me like the CSC agents don't have anything to do, so some are approving more recent files....wonder what it takes to get the case transferred. Sad thing is, I can't even see my case online since we started this...(sigh)

I dont think... any of us can... or prolly one or two.... but what I do is whenever I have 5 mins that I want to waste, I call USCIS (press 1, 2, a& 3) and ask for my case... sometimes you'll hear well is too soon to be asking about this case....call again in 6 months. Sometimes, you'll hear people saying well is around 4 months, or 5 months.. etc... but the way it looks... is like we'll be lucky if its this year... and that is just not cool! because the way I see it... I understand they have a HUGE workload, but they also have to plan for it.... so like any business they charge money to do a job, and they are not meeting deadlines...so if they say well we dont have enough people... they can hire some more... and if that means increasing the cost of applying.. well... I am certain that most people rather pay extra money when they apply if they are going to see a result within a decent timeframe....

Hey all - haven't posted in a while but I get the daily email updates so I'm keeping tabs on you!!!

This delays is scaring me. I was an early May filer and was expecting to hear by the end of August, is that probably not going to happen?

And I wish their computer systems were working so I knew if it had been touched or not.
