Hi JeremyandEvelyn,

Welcome to the May filers! Yeah, I can't see our case online, either. I think VSC probably updates in spurts. Regardless, hopefully, we'll get our NOA2's by September.

Tina

Congrats! Why post it in this thread though? This is the VSC May filers........I think the CSC people would be more interested. Just noticed your timeline....I assume you were expedited...even for an expedite that was pretty fast...wow.

Hello everyone,

just wanted to let you know that my Petition got approved! We requested an expedite for military purposes and we hadn't heard from them since then. My fiance called USCIS and they said not only the expedite was approved but also the I-129F Petition, it's on NVC now. We didn't receive our NOA2 hard copy (what's new?) but that's not our concern right now, we are so thrilled we got approved.

I know it doesn't sound "fair" to be pushed to the front of the line when there are people from 2007 that haven't been approved but I hope you all get approved within the timelines and you have a nice short and smooth journey. Thank you for all the help and good luck!

Oh, and I'm not leaving this topic anytime soon!

Congrats!

Hey guys,

Checking in. Haven't been posting much or hanging around because time seems to go by faster when I'm not obsessing. As an update, still haven't been able to check online status. Pretty much given up on that, as I hear its probably useless anyway except for the random excitement from being touched.

I'm hoping we get our NOA2 in Sept, takes 2 months for the interview in Malaysian US embassy after the approval, so I'll probably have my interview in October. He's gonna be flying down to attend it with me as I got burned bad from intimidation at my tourist interview and want things to go smoothly. Hopefully we can fly to US together in Oct, have fun settling down for a month together before tying the knot in Nov or Dec. A winter wedding! Brrrrrrrrr.

We're probably gonna elope in hocking hills, OH, until we can afford a proper wedding in Hawaii. Besides paying for the AOS, his trip down here (USD 1000), my ticket there (USD800) a new place to move to and a new car, there's just too much to pay for so it looks like an elopement. Gonna be a tight budget. And this is with him being able to legally support 7 of me! It's no joke what a money sink this whole process is, especially if you're halfway across the world.

So in June, Feb filers are being approved.

In July, March filers will be approved.

In August, April filers will be approved.

September....is our stage, if they keep the pace up.

Are they STILL doing H1Bs?

Been worried about 3 full chat logs I had sent them as proof of relationship in the original petition. Had this nagging thought that they would use too much information against us. Sigh. Maybe I'm just being paranoid from all the waiting. It's just a depressing thought that your fate lies in the hands of a complete stranger. They get to decide if you can be with the love of your life, which frankly speaking shouldn't happen. They don't know you. They could make snap judgments. They could be prejudiced, biased, having a bad day. There's so much room for human error. No one should have that much power over someones life. I'm just paranoid that despite proof of our 4.5 year relationship, stacks of phone bills, pictures, emails, chat logs, screen shots, they will just deny me simply because they don't like the way I look, or they woke up on the wrong side of the bed that day, or their girlfriend is cheating on them, or they're racist and the list goes on.

N-400 Stuff:
07/02/16 : N-400 sent

07/11/16 : NOA1

07/28/16 : Biometrics

04/03/17: Interview (approved)

Good morning, my fellow May filers. How is everyone this fine Friday morning? The sun is out (at least here in Toronto) and it's a good day to be optimistic :) I think I'm at the point where there is no use in worrying about the NOA2 now. We all did the best we could and it's out of our hands now, so all we can do is hope for the best!

Anyway, just wanted to wish you all a good day and hang in there!

Well, They are approving people from later Januray and early February (from VJ at least), but the only thing is that if someone wants to complain to USCIS they'll thell them that they are still processing November. Also, did you notice that they changed I-130 to 5 months instead of 6 months...so hopefully next report I'll show a better outcome...for us VSC people.

Yeah I was looking at that too but its "as of: April 30, 2009" they were working on Nov 25,2005......thats a month and a half ago and means their processing date was actually less then the 6 months that they had posted before.
