Hey everyone,

Well, at least things seem to be moving now. It looks like they are currently working on mid-February, which means we could possibly get our NOA2's by early to mid-September and then hopefully move by early December. There's hope yet! :)

By the way, can any of you see your case status online yet?

Hi mini_choco,

You pretty much have the same timeline as we do! Strange how I can't see our status online, though. Regardless, hope things will go well and we could be with our SO's before December!

Hey Guys,

I know I've been gone for a while. I hope you are all doing great. As I can see the Feb approvals are rolling. Hopefully they'll get done quick with them, and so on till ours :innocent: .... also I called USCIS about the case not being online, and basically the person said that more than likely our case might not be there at all (ever); they do not have a timeframe to fix it. Also, he said that it was taking around 120 days. So, that means that VJ stats are pretty accurate.

I hope this helps...........

Regards to ya'll

Thanks for the update. 120 days...at least that's better than the 6months they have posted on the USCIS website!

Hey, we're finally talking! I was beginning to think that we really are the quietest group.

Anyway, I'm from Toronto. My fiance is in New York now but will be moving to Indy for his new job (not sure how that will work out with the change of adress and all). Anyway, I guess we'll deal with it when that happens!

I will probably miss the multiculturalism in Toronto, but certainly not the weather...although it will still be nice to retire here one day as senior citizens do get treated quite well :)

I hear you on the weather my friend...unfortunately, Connecticut weather is not that much different from Toronto weather :( Fortunately, both my fiance and I are both hot weather, sun worshipping people and he has promised that we will retire somewhere warm :) You are right about the multiculturalism in Toronto...it's the reason why my parents came to Toronto and up until recently i was working for a multicultural TV station in Toronto and loved it! I live just down the street from some of the best restaurants in Toronto and that is what i'm going to miss when i move to CT...thank goodness we will be close enough to NYC so that i could head down to get my dose of really good food!

Yeah, I think I'll miss the foods here in Toronto, too, when I move to Indy. I've only been there once in my life (when we went to look for an apartment), and the people there were pretty nice. We're both going to be new to the area so it gives us to experience things together :)

Hello everyone,

just wanted to let you know that my Petition got approved! We requested an expedite for military purposes and we hadn't heard from them since then. My fiance called USCIS and they said not only the expedite was approved but also the I-129F Petition, it's on NVC now. We didn't receive our NOA2 hard copy (what's new?) but that's not our concern right now, we are so thrilled we got approved.

I know it doesn't sound "fair" to be pushed to the front of the line when there are people from 2007 that haven't been approved but I hope you all get approved within the timelines and you have a nice short and smooth journey. Thank you for all the help and good luck!

Oh, and I'm not leaving this topic anytime soon!
