Hey all

My case got completed today thank GOD. Thing is they told me to wait till mid may to be schd. for an appointment which could me june,july whatever.

Is that how it works or Im I missing something??

10-15 days and cal them to know ur appointment date

Each embassy is different, some work quite fast at scheduling interviews, others (like Montreal) you have to wait 2-3 months before you get an interview date.

^^ Exactly. Each embassy provides NVC with available dates and NVC then books the interview. If you have just completed at NVC I would agree that you might not expect a date until mid-May. Good luck.

NVC says "call back the middle of the month, on or after May 15th for the interview date." Our case was completed April 8th and we didn't get a May interview scheduled, but we did get an e-mail On April 24th with our interview date. So really it all depends on the embassy...how many slots they have available for interviews for your type of visa. I wouldn't rely on their "we only schedule interviews the second week of the month" ####### because a lot of people with case complete around the same date as me got June interviews scheduled already! Hang in there!
