The answer is much the same as other threads , Are you willing to give up the second citizenship if asked and are your skills unique enough to make it workth an extra 150000 to get you the clearence ? If you already have history with the company maybe. If you are looking for a job that requires the clearance as a condition of working almost never.

Timeline

Judicially, the US doesn't recognize dual citizenship. On any government application, you must state that you are the citizen of the US. However, if you are in foreign countries that recognize dual citizenship you may state whatever relation you want.

But, this is to emphasize that you must put US citizenship for all security clearances. Do not put that you are citizen for two countries. They will deny your app.

Well, the answer is, she's been working for the company for five years.

My answer is quite honest. That is the average cost of a full initial security investigation on paper and most companies don't like putting out that kind of money for someone off the street with any "issues" but they may for someone they have established a relationship with. You must not HIDE your other citizenship on the forms. They are going to look at you as hard if not harder than USCIS did
