Yes, I really do believe that there are REAL differences between Westernized American women and Helen Keller. Sure, women are women, but Western women are known to have big expectations in the $$ department. Helen Keller type women understand their role, and that the man is king of the castle. But...if there isnt enough income, they will help out, even if it means prostituting themselves. Many western woman will just divorce you. Plain and simple.

On important decisions:

Westernized Woman: “You idiot. Why didn’t you do it my way?”

Helen Keller: knows her place and remains silent.

After receiving a gift:

Westernized Woman: Says “thanks” while instantly comparing it to the version owned by her most ostentatious friend.

Helen Keller: hugs you and smiles

On Wednesday Night Sex:

Westernized Woman: “Touch me and I am calling the cops.”

Helen Keller: always ready and willing.

On Shopping:

Westernized Woman: “I just have to have that Vuitton purse/Tiffany bracelet/etc..”

Helen Keller: is happy with whatever you give her

On Financial Setbacks:

Westernized Woman: “So what are you going to do about it.”

Helen Keller: just learns to eat less, and doesn't complain

On Exploded Home Appliance:

Westernized Woman: “I told you not to buy that cheap thing.”

Helen Keller: “………” Dead silence. Unless it smells bad, she doesn't even notice.

On an Extra Woman in the Bed:

Westernized Woman: "Are you out of your mind?"

Helen Keller:"......" Doesn't say a word. Wednesday night as usual.

Looking for a Filipina wife to replace the one that left him (surprise).

If you're looking for someone to obey you and be subservient of you, there are many women that fit that bill, and while some may be Filipina, it's crazy to think that all Filipina, all Asian, or all Women want to be the obedient serving wife. I can only imagine that there are some women who believe that their role is to be obedient and serving. I don't have to imagine that many men dream of it. Personally, I prefer a woman who is loyal instead of obedient, and is helpful to our common good, rather than serving. There are certain things I'm good at, certain things she's good at, and certain things we both suck at, and should just hire someone to do the work. Instead of trying to demean a certain type of woman as DobermanGuy did, I chose Helen Keller as my example, BECAUSE in reality, although blind and deaf, she was considered as quite "outspoken". Even without her site or hearing, Ms. Keller was an amazing woman. She was the first blind/deaf person to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree. She was an author, and an activist. Although she did require assistance, in many ways she was more independent than many women with hearing and site. Simple quotes of hers speak volumes, without her ever uttering a word. Many people don't know that Ms. Keller was a political activist, who fought against the war, for worker's rights, for women's suffrage, as well as many other progressive causes. She was not the pushover that you see in the movies and plays. If I want an obedient servant, I'll get a dog or hire a maid. To me, a wife should be an equal, complimentary to each other in every since of the word. She should be the ying to my yang. I'm very happy that I have a strong, intelligent wife, who doesn't take any sh!t from anyone, including me. I guess in a way, I have a wife like Helen Keller. Love you Ring Ring.

You have no clue about MY actual situation and you have NO idea what sort of garbage I have had to deal with. I had always loved and cared for my previous wife, unconditionally... I find out after the fact that she had been cheating since day one... Silly packrat of a woman had a few piles of incriminating emails hidden in the closet to prove it...

Glad that you are so smart you can figure people out so quickly and judge them.

I hesitate to ask you to simmer down; but I must before you become one of pop psychology's walking cartoons. Try freeing your future from enslavement to your earliest conditioning.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

I'm smart enough to know that when you DO love someone unconditionally, you don't objectify them and demean them by thinking that they came off some kind of Filipina wife assembly line. You talk about her as if she can just be replaced by a newer model from the same factory. Yeah, I can see how she was so special to you...just like your first car. Maybe when you order your next one you can get the LoJack option for when she runs away.

I'll buy that and anyone who has dated or married a woman from Asia or other parts of the world will find that not every woman will conform to whatever the stereotype is. On the hand, I don't feel I have to go around and justify why I married a Filipina nor should anyone who married an American.
