They outright denied you for forgetting a single job title? You sure it was an outright denial and not AP? (If they even do AP in China, I'm not sure x_x)

I never knew China was THAT tough.

Good luck to you.

We talked yesterday. White Slip. The only thing so far, interview wise, was my Fiancee did not remember my Job Title, on my job prior to my retirement in 1994. She said, Sales, but that is what I do now. One guy did not pass because their communacation are not great. English and Chinese is a slow thing to learn. Many White Slips lately at Guangzhou.

Found out this morning,,,,No Visa. My Fiancee did not remember my job title in 1994, "supervisor/diemaker". I bet the Visa Officer does not know what a diemaker is also. 20 months of preparation gone in a couple of minutes. This means have do another trip, file 1-130, and wait another year. Good luck everyone, Bob

Oh no! Sorry to hear this! I wish you and yours the best!

Thanks, now have to try to figure out when to apply the CR1 as to have an interview not in the summer months, or December, or January. Can not handle the heat of summer, or the very cold of winter.

I am doing good. Still waiting for Kha Han to come here. She got in a bad accident on Dec 31st and is still trying to recover, but she also needs to take care of some things before she can come here. Anyways, I am going to try and pick her up at the last possible moment before her visa expires and hope she is ready by that time. If not, then that will mean I get to do this whole process over again! :crying:

I am glad that many are doing good for the May Filers of 2009. I am getting ready to go to China next week for 3 weeks, see My Xixi, get married, and start with the 130 process. The May to Dec K1 was a long wait, and denial, but we just have to endure. It took me a while to figure what the miscomunication was with the December Interview. The Visa Officer ask about my prior job from 1966 to 1994, which my Xixi answered, "Sales". I was a surpervisor/diemaker, for a company that made "Sales" posters/materials. I had shown my Xixi examples of posters, typical of what the company made, when we out shopping, so she was well aware of what I did for a living. I believe what the Visa Officer wanted to hear was, "supervisor".
