Filed the Wednesday just before Memorial Day by overnighting it via USPS. Checked cashed and NOA1 issued that Friday. NOA 1 document then recieved in the mail not too long afterward. Now, it's a waiting game for the NOA2 and hoping nothing happens employment wise that complicates matters later on. And no, I wont ask my 75 year old mother to co-sponsor me if I lose my job-I'd rather have her petition me to Canada in that situation  I can be a Canadian!! :dancing:

Note to self: go to bookstore for Ameri-Can to Candian translation book; start being nicer; use "eh" at the end of each sentance; sing song sentances; peel off NRA stickers off truck (sell truck) and never admit to watching Ted Nugent; buy more sweaters; be nicer :bonk:

(Tom Petty)

Oh baby don't it feel like heaven right now

Don't it feel like something from a dream

Yeah I've never known nothing quite like this

Don't it feel like tonight might never be again

We know better than to try and pretend

Baby no one could'a ever told me 'bout this

I said yeah yeah

(Chorus)

The waiting is the hardest part

Every day you see one more card

You take it on faith, you take it to the heart

The waiting is the hardest part

Well yeah i might have chased a couple women around

All it ever got me was down

Then there were those that made me feel good

But never as good as I'm feeling right now

Baby you're the only one that's ever known how

To make me wanna live like I wanna live now

I said yeah yeah

(Chorus)

The waiting is the hardest part

Every day you get one more yard

You take it on faith, you take it to the heart

The waiting is the hardest part

Oh don't let it kill you baby, don't let it get to you

Don't let it kill you baby, don't let it get to you

I'll be your bleedin' heart, I'll be your cryin' fool

Don't let this go too far

Don't let it get to you

Hello everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that my I-129F Petition was approved! We requested an expedite for military purposes and well, we hadn't heard from them since then. My fiance called USCIS and they said not only the expedite was approved but also the I-129F Petition, which is on NVC now. We didn't receive our NOA2 hard copy (what's new?) but that's not our concern right now, we are so thrilled we got approved.

I know it doesn't sound "fair" to be pushed to the front of the line when there are people from 2007 that haven't been approved yet but I hope you all get your approvals within the timelines and you have a nice short and smooth journey. Thank you for all the help and good luck!

K-1 TIMELINE:

05-11-2009: NOA1

05-20-2009: called the Military Help Line and requested for expedite

06-04-2009: NOA2

06-14-2009: NVC letter received in the mail

07-02-2009: Packet 4 received

08-27-2009: Interview - Visa approved!

09-03-2009: visa in hands.

09-20-2009: POE - Miami

09-21-2009: we got married!

AOS TIMELINE:

05-12-2010: NOA1

06-08-2010: Case transferred to CSC
