I got another touch the day after my RFE email.

I'm guessing it's the hard copy of the RFE.

My fiance hasnt been home to check the mail, so I hope it's in there.

It doesn't really have to go too far

Hopefully, sometimes this weekend you will get the revelation of your RFE

I live in Cali so my RFE should arrive within this coming week. I just hope its not something complicated.

My RFE came today.

It's not the G-325A forms, which I had expected.

Maybe they don't mind photocopied ones... though I would still have sent the ink signed ones anyway.

And wow, it was the STUPIDEST THING EVER.

A really, really stupid missed thing.

Section C of the I-129F, Question 2.

... She forgot to check the "No" box. THAT'S IT.

Thank goodness I don't have to send paperwork to him.

Weird how they took my signed G-325As.... so far.

Do they look through the whole package then RFE, or stop when they find one and send the RFE?

That's what I wonder.

Oh my gosh!! That is the stupidest thing to send an RFE for. You would think they would send an RFE for the G325A. I am thinking the worst for my RFE like I did not send enough pics. But, on my passport stamp the entry/exit stamps states the date I visited my fiance in India. Maybe mine will be really stupid as well. I think if you were going to get another RFE they would have send it a long time ago. I heard it goes through two officers before they approve it. So, the 2nd officer that looked at it must be pretty #######. Hopefully, your fiance can overnight the corrected form and you can get your approval next week. That was a really easy request.

All he had to do was check in the box that applied to him in the red circled area.

He's sending it back on Monday.

Apparently they even gave him an envelope to send it back in.

So THAT'S why the petition is so expensive, gotta pay for those return envelopes somehow.

(Sarcasm if you're wondering )

From majority of the people that got RFE's have been more meaningless things. I think in some cases they have even been requesting things you have already submitted. I hope I get an easy one like you.

How nice of them to give you an envelope too?

Did the envelope include postage on it too?

If he sends it on Monday and overnights it. I think you can even get your approval next week.

I don't know. I believe it includes postage. It'd be awful cheap of them if it didn't.

And I read RFE's add at least 10 to 20 days for processing, but who knows.

I have been looking at others timeline who got RFE's and its seems to be quicker than I thought. At least in the past two months they have been approving them in 5 to 7 days. From what I have seen. I really think you will get yours by next week, or latest by following Monday. I was thinking they might need by boarding passes, but I threw away my boarding pass going. I have my stub for my return boarding pass. Just today I even found my baggage claim stickers on an envelope that included my boarding passes. I wonder if that would be sufficient proof if they want to know that I visited him. Here I am going crazy wondering what the RFE was for, and maybe to my surprise it will be the lamest thing. Who knows????

You should probably find out what your RFE is on Monday.

Mail doesn't take long since you're in Cali.

True they send it on the 28th so my attorney should recieve it by Monday. I am keeping my fingers crossed hoping its something stupid. At the same time thinking the worst, so it turns out to be something lame .

Hi! I have a question.. Is it possible NOT to get an email before getting the hardcopy? Apparently our case was touched AGAIN 08-28-2009. What does this mean!!! My fiance is at work in the slopes and he cannot check the mail and his brother won't freaking pick up my calls (lkadjfaojlamglajsdfopjasmf!!!) !

Now I'm getting worked up if we got an RFE or a NOA2 !!

Mine had the same situation as yours.. I had 2 touches back to back. The first touch ended up being my NOA2 date and the 2nd touch must have been the day the notice was mailed  Hang in there. Check your mailbox about 4-5 days after aug 28. *I never got the email approval because USCIS never updated their system. I just got the NOA2 Hardcopy instead.

THANKS! I sure hope it's the NOA2. When I called the 1-800 number for USCIS it said that they already mailed us the I-797 form and to just follow the instructions in it. i know that I-797 is a notice of approval but I-797C is the RFE and I-797E is for another kind of notice or such lol.

I cant wait to talk to my fiance's brother. he cant check the mail coz he is at work in the slopes and doesn't get home until after a week from now. im getting really anxious i swear lol

Hang in there Starlight. You will see it is nothing you couldn't provide for the adjudicator :star:

Thanks for always staying so positive. You have been so patient I really hope you get your NOA2 soon. You have waited long enough so you should get an NOA2 right away. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
