Hello everyone. This is my second go around with the K1. Unfortunate circumstances prevented our wedding from taking place last year, so we are going through the process for a second time. I just wanted to let all May filers know some updates. I mailed my package on April 30 and it was delivered on May 1. As have all of you, I have been WAITING for my check to be cashed and to get that pesky NOA1. I don't have any update on the NOA1, but I did want to share that I was just looking at my checking account, and FINALLY there is a pending transaction for the application fee. I know how stressful it can be waiting and wondering (as I said... I have been through it all before... including the visa approval and the actual landing here in the US). I thought the information of a May filer finally having a check being processed might help some feel a little more at ease. I am now just hoping the NOA1 arrives pretty soon. Then, the REAL wait begins

May we all have a smooth and quick process!

It looks like those who mailed it around the 8th are in the same boat as I am.

Similarly, my check was cashed on the 14th as I posted above. I found my case number this morning, and when I registered online I found my petition was received on May 12. It took about 1.5 weeks from the actual physical delivery to the NOA1 (May1 to May 12). Remembering back a few years to my first petition, this seems pretty accurate. It then took 1 week from the "receipt" day to me actually receiving the NOA1 in the mail. We'll see how it goes this time.

Looks like we May filers are finally starting to roll along.

Where did you get that message from? E-mail? It's been 10 days since my fiance mailed the petition (8 days since the package was delivered) and we haven't heard anything from them yet.

And congrats on your NOA1!

Nothing new from me yet. I'm guessing (hoping) that I'll have my check cleared on Wednesday. Right now, it would just be nice to have the NOA1 just to know that they are starting to work on it. After that, I won't be doing stuff like checking 22,590 times per day on my bank's website to see if the check cleared. I'll just have to try and keep myself busy (Xbox 360 and maybe WoW again) because I don't want to be checking for my NOA2 everyday.
