Hey folks,

This just came in

http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/menuitem

apparently USCIS have given us email addresses to the service centers for inquiries. This can help us a lot!

Ooh, that is helpful.

And nothing for me so far. Well, they're open for about 4 more hours... so here's hoping for something.

And according to our igor's list, the person above me and below me got their NOA2s. WHERE'S MINE

Did you call today? Were they very helpful? You are suppossed to take down the name of the person you talk to. It seems like they actually have emails of the service centers now if the customer service rep does not help you.

Well, I called them today because I saw the touch, and I thought I would play dumb and ask when I would be receiving the letter. They said "We haven't sent you a letter, we're currently working on applications received in March, we received your petition on May 12th, so you are well within our 5 month processing time." She basically read verbatim what I could read online when I click on the case number. Not helpful at all, but since I don't actually have an issue, There was no reason for her to give me any kind of number I would use to e-mail CSC. Which is okay, I mean, I was kindof jumping the gun by calling them today, I just so dang excited about them updating the date online! She kept telling me that the date changing had nothing to do with anything other than updating the status, which hasn't changed..... we just talked around in circles until she basically told me to not call back unless its after October. Whatever..... at least I have you guys!!! :luv:

I would have done the same thing that you had as far as calling them if I saw that the filers with my NOA2 got approved. They seem to still be following the same line. I guess things have not changed much with USCIS. It seems like they are not in anyway helpful. I would not let them discourage you from waiting until October to call them. I am sure you will will get approved shortly. I think persistent from an early start is the key to getting approved sooner than later. At least getting approved within a reasonable amount of time. But, you are still ok they just started May filers with your date. Just hang in there. Our days are coming shortly :).
