I think it basically means there's a certain # of petitions ahead of you based on the dates. Ones tracked from here, the VJ site anyway.

And use this site, it's more accurate imo:

Yeah, it changes with every update from here, I think.

I'm not 100% sure how it works exactly, but all I know is that it seems more accurate than the Igor's list on here.

The closer you get to the top, the better.

Means they're approving petitions.

I didn't sign up for touches.

I'd rather just get my NOA2 without getting excited about my big pile of papers being touched inbetween.

There's a chance you could get email notification a week or two before getting your physical NOA2 if you sign up. That was my first notification that we were approved.

A "touch" sometimes means your NOA2 is coming, but that's something you don't get notified of. You have to look at the USCIS site to see them.

I wish I wasn't so obsessed with notifications. :)

I havn't gotten a single touch.

I also looked at the papers my fiance brought back to me saying it's the "Photocopy of the petition", and what do I find? All the photocopies of my visa bills/plane tickets/reciepts that I purposly used colour on. I wanted him to use those, not freaking photocopy them.

I even found the blank G 325A forms that I signed, so now USCIS has photocopied signatures.

AND 2 of the 5 photos we were using were held back AND THEY WERE OF OUR ENGAGEMENT PARTY.

I knew I shouldn't have let him trust a lawyer. I don't even have a true copy of the petition.

I'm so freaking angry right now.
