It is an ok review, id give you a lot stronger review if u had stated the elevator opens from he rear, lol Nice job, and congrats!

 How can I forget such an important detail? When we were sitting there waiting, some guy came up the elevator and was facing the wrong direction and just stood there... and the elevator door closed on him while he was still inside. We all laughed... It was impossible not too!

Thanks for the details and congrats!

Are you a political science student?

Yep! Technically I finished last week, but graduation isn't until June 11th, so I'm still enrolled. I'm happy to be done but I'm going to miss it!

Thanks everyone!!

Ok, I can now give you full marks!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

OMG, I SOOOO remembered that you had said that exact thing before we got there. Then, when we got into the elevator, I walked in and didn't turn around. My fiance' kept talking to me and I think he was expecting me to turn around, which I didn't really do... other than turn over my shoulder to talk to him. Then, he finally took a step or two towards me and stood next to me. Then, when thedoors opened, we walked out and others in the elevator were kinda shocked. I'm SOOO glad I knew that ahead of time! lol
