When I think about the guys who condemn American women, I often wonder what they'd want for their American daughter(s). Have the mind of a maid or an accountant, doctor, engineer?

Mistake number one is using tunnel vision when looking at the issue.

Do you Really think western-feminist type women are the ONLY Accountants Doctors or Engineers in the world?

Why do you want to limit the conversation to the Philippines?

You suggested, only a Westernized-feminist woman would be educated. Evidently you think those poor Rubes in non-western countries have no interest in education.

Where did you get the idea that women who don't embrace Feminism are working as maids and those that do... aren't?

As for my Daughter, She would tell you she is "not" a feminist, and she is soon to graduate with Nursing degree. (Top of her class)

But even if she worked as a lowly paid maid, would that mean she is a lesser person?
