They get top dollar around here. The unions spend all their time working the call banks for the Democrats, and the unskilled laborers are just that: unskilled. Whether they are illegal or not, white boys and black boys don't want to learn the trades the immigrants already seem to be qualified for.

I think that over twenty years is well qualified. Am I willing to work? No, not for seven dollars per hour. Willing to accept that type wage is all the qualification needed to remain employed here. If there were twenty one people here to share the rent then I would be able to accept those wages!!!!!

It is more live and let live. Wine is the big industry around here, and they need the immigrants. They tried to bus kids up from the city. That lasted exactly one day, even for top dollar.

(They don't allow day laborers to solicit around the shopping centers. Only the vagrants.)

If there were twenty one people here to share the rent then I would be able to accept those wages!!!!!

I don't know about a right to work state like Texas, but the unions here control the trades, and they are all political, run by the National's. They starve all winter, expect you to help with campaigns, and then let you work a few months over the summer. I have buddy's like that, and life is pretty miserable if you can't budget your lifestyle.
