Medical exam ????? Depends on country, varies widely. Now $125 in Ukraine.

Visa fee $131 USD or equivilent in local currency, at or prior to interview, depends on how the consulate handles it.

Police certificate ???? depends on locality. It was about $9 in Ukraine for "non-expedited" processing.

Travel expenses ????????

AOS fee after arrival $1010. Typically within 90 days. I read here that there is no penalty if within 180 days of I-94 expiration. Do it as soon as possible.

There may be other fees and expenses dependingon consulate. Download the packet three instructions from your consulate for details.

Bogartnoir I would ask the same question on the Canadian section of the forum you will get a much better idea of the costs http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showforum=93 .

In the UK Medical exam cost me 250 pounds (about 450 canadian dollars and without any extra vaccinations) and Visa was $131 dollars, shipping also needs to be paid at the embassy, then there are travel costs to get there.

Goodluck!
