im new here i just got these site from a friend, and i have a friend who has her husband died in the military mission, while her papers as k3 was still under process in her country,the military grant her B2 just to attend the funeral of her husband, her k3 application was revoked since the petitioner died, she work on her papers in the US to appeal for the revoked application, but then they just gave her work permit while figuring out of her case....

after 3 years of stay, she never heard about her papers whats goin on with it... and finally she's out of status... now, she got a new fiance, a military who wants to marry her... they dont know what and how to file... what kind of paper...

vj, if you know the answer im so thankful if you give one or even advice will be accepted...

She needs to find out what happened to her appeal first which it was probably denied. After that she can marry her current fiancée and file for AOS from her B2 visa. She should also be ready to answer all the questions they will have for her regarding her overstay since the reason for her visa was for her to attend her deceased fiancé's funeral, not to stay in the US and marry some one new.

07/20/11 - Interview - passed

07/20/11 - Oath ceremony - same day as interview

Probably best to use a lawyer, highly suspicious circumstances.
