Hello to everybody!I am new here.My fiance gave me this link just 3 days ago and I am so glad he found this website, I am learning alot!I am scheduled for an interview on May 26 and now starting feeling anxious.(oh God knows...)My anxiety heightened when i read somewhere here on the post that Annotated Marriage COntract is asked during the interview. I filed the presumptive case in Province A (let me call it this way) Regional Trial Court and had the decision in my favor after 2 years of wait (the motion for reconsideration delayed the process). Then I sent a copy to "Province A" Local Civil Registrar and got a Certification from them stating that they have it registered in their office. Then I sent one copy of the court's decision to Province B (where I and my Ex got married) Local Civil Registrar and the officer sent me back (as per request) the papers and instructed me to hand it in at NSO Manila for the Annotated Marriage Contract. Havent handed the papers to NSO Manila yet but I will next week.

My question is, does anyone here has similar case to mine (previously) as to the type their marriage was terminated and eventually got thier visa?Or anyone who has a knowledge about this. Does the US Embassy accepts Pressumptive Death Case court orders as a valid document in considering visa issuance? I did not see nor meet or talk to my ex for 11 years. His mother signed an affidavit, likewise stating, that she hasnt met nor heard about him for same long years. Also my ex sister testified.

Now, May 26th is getting close and I still have papers to gather and arrange (for the interview) and the "presumptive case" is bothering me and making me anxious to be visa denied.

Any advise pleaseeee...

Thank you very much!

I did some paper similiar for my wife.

We needed Parental Consent, and her father is out of picture. Shot in the head in bandits in gold mines many years ago

We were able to state her father is no longer alive, and CO had no issues with it.

Now, that's kinda difficult to fathom. I am sensing your case was different to mine.Maybe you want to elaborate some more? :)

Different yes, But we had some things that could of been big issues.

We also had 2 different BC with different last names for her, it was kinda a mess when we went into the interview.

But we did all we could do to prepare and have the documents. (Plus we got to deal with Document Verification).

Just go in there and plan for positive results, and things should go fine.

If for some reason you need to submit more paper work to get approval, then round that up and get it back to USEM.

Bottom Line go in there with a positve outlook....

I wouldn't delay going to NSO, it may not be the cause of denial but they may put you on AP or something like that.

Ask NSO if you can expedite the annotation, bring your proof of interview sched... but when I went there they weren't allowed to do "rush" jobs, i'm not sure for exceptional cases though.

good luck and hope things work out for you!

You already have the certified true copy of your annulment, all you need to do is go to NSO East Ave.fill up an application form and proceed to Area B to submit all the docs that was given to you by your LCR and you'll get a copy of your annotated MC within 10 working days.Usually the CO dont ask much about what happened to the marriage,as long as you're free to marry your fiance and you have all the proof, you'll be fine.During my interview, the pre-screener asked only for my annotated MC and the CO asked only about my relationship with my then fiance.

Good luck on your interview

Thank you very much for that info! You got me smiling here :=) *sigh* whew! Now i'm kinda relieved from my paranoia..hehe. Sorry for the late reply though. I was caught in a bind last week processing my NSO papers (BC,CENOMAR and Annotated MC). Also had my medical exam at SLEC and happy to tell everyone that I passed! whew! one more to go..... the big day---- USEM CO Interview, May 26, 2009.

Again, thank you for sharing your "very" valuable information. It really put my worries aside. God Bless. :star:

Ohhh.. one more thing. I was reading on your case timeline and I noticed the "submitted new nbi clearance with A.K.A at the USEM". Mine reads like this:

SANTOS vda de ROQUE, MARTHEENA y DEL PILAR (Lastname, Married Name, Name, Middle Name).

That's how my name appears on my NBI Clearance. Do you think it's good? Does your NBI Clearance appears similar in that order? I need your advise pleaseee.

Thank you soo very much in advance!
