What is the processing time for the 130, we were approved and we already have a case #, however no fee, as of today, what happens next and more or less what is the time frame.

12/26/05 I go to Cuba

send I-130 Petition

03/02/06 recived NOA1

04/03/06 send I-129 visa

04/13/06 NOA 1 for I-129F in mail

06/07/06 I-130 Approved

07/05/06 Ref in mail (129F)

07/06/06 send back (129F)

07/07/06 rcvd I-864 Processing fee bill &DS-3032

07/09/06 faxed DS-3032 to al

07/10/06 send I-864 fee

07/11/06 send DS- 3032 (next day delivery)

08/02/06 send bill $380. recived 08/08/06

08/09/06 send affidavit of support recived 08/10/06

08/16/06 send DS 230- arrived at visa center on 08/17/06 at 8AM

08/16/06 I129 approved

10/26/06 1-130 completed at NVC

02/12/07 Visa was issued

2-3 months through NVC depending on if you use James Shortcuts (link in my signature) and if you get a clear run and not held up with security checks. Once a case number is assigned it can be 1-2 weeks before you will have the DS-3032 (choice of agent) and AOS Bill generated. Usually if you check the automated service you will hear the updates on a tuesday. Once generated you can email them your Choice of Agent (see the Timesavers & Shortcuts link in signature). The NVC Flowchart will show you the various paths and order of things. If you make the USC the choice of agent (what most tend to do) these paths are somewhat merged in that they all go to the USC, but they are still separate paths.

From what I understand after NOA2 for I-130 your petition gets forwarded to NVC , and they will send packets out and let you know what you need to submit next. It may take a few months - if you looka t other people's timelines or justa few weeks.

But what do I know, I am still waiting for my NOA 2 for anything K3 or CR1 :unsure:

08.26.2006 Finally got Affidavit papers by mail

Maybe I did not explained my self, after I recive the bill, and send the affidavit of support how long you thing it will take for my husband to get the visa and travel to the USA?

How long the NVC stage takes is answered in the posts above. How long it takes to be scheduled an interview is dependant on which country. It also depends on anything further being required after the interview is held. So adding that together will give you an approx. timeframe of how long it will take before he is able to come to the US on his visa.
