Embassy changed the interview date!

I just got a phone call to my office from the embassy stating that they wanted to postponed the interview date from May 4 to May 12 because the interviewer is not available on that day. I just feel abit sad. I also wonder why they don't call to my cellphone but called to my office.

It's only a week delay... after the full length of the process so far, one more week shouldn't be too bad. Though I can understand your feeling.... each extra day waiting and waiting can feel like eternity.

We're still waiting to get our interview scheduled at BKK Embassy. The last email we got said we should wait "6-8 weeks" because of the heavy case load they are processing. Sigh.

I'm sorry about the interview change. Maybe the just used the first contact number they saw on your file? Or perhaps they thought "hmm...must be at work now, I'll call the office"

Hope they get your interview done soon, as well. That's why I'm thinking of going after the (first) interview cause it seems they ask them to come back later for one reason or another. I don't wanna come back without her again!

so they called your office in Thailand (or the US?). At least they called rather than making you go to only learn it aint happening right then (I heard of one couple who had that happen)
