I'm from the Claxton Bay area about an hour from the capital (Port of Spain)...have you visited in the past?

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

2024

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

Hi everyone!

I am preparing my I-751 packet and hoping to complete the requirements this month. I am kind of confused on the Two completed fingerprint cards (Form FD-258) . Do you set an appoitment at your local USCIS so they can administer this? Please let me know.

Dani, you must only submit the fingerprint cards if you are residing overseas (on government or military orders). If you reside in the US this is nothing you have to worry about.

I'm starting to wonder why we didn't get a reminder... We moved but updated our address with USCIS. We included the USPS receipts for both the AR-11 and I-865 with our application.

We got a reminder letter - but they still sent it to our old address - good thing my parents still live there! We have moved twice since then as well!

I'm starting to wonder why we didn't get a reminder... We moved but updated our address with USCIS. We included the USPS receipts for both the AR-11 and I-865 with our application.

We got a reminder letter - but they still sent it to our old address - good thing my parents still live there! We have moved twice since then as well!

We moved house a year ago and sent in an AR-11 and I-865, but I still got a reminder letter forwarded (11 months after we moved/notified USCIS) from our old address. Oh well.

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Oh good to know! :thumbs: I am supposed to be going to Trinidad for Christmas of this year. It will be my first time in a while. It will be my husband and daughter's first time there so I am so excited to introduce them to my heritage. We've been on a few cruises and he's always hearing my comparisons of Trinidad to other Islands like Belize, and Roatan Islands. I can't wait! :dance:

Okay, so I'm three days late, but can I join the CSC May filers anyway? I was so desperate to get it done by the 31st, but then I realized that's a Sunday, so why not put it off until the 1st? I spent all day (10 hours) assembling, photocopying, making nifty tabs etc on the 1st -- so much so I missed the post. :( Then I was travelling all day on the 2nd, so the I-751 was FINALLY mailed yesterday, on the 3rd.

But I am May filer at heart! Just lazy.
