Jane, you are another person I have read about here on VJ lately who has to pay a second I-751 application fee when logically your child came here on the same K-1 you did, or attached to it. Correct?

Not your fault, but you have to pay to the tune of forking over another $465! :wacko: Makes no sense at all...

We filed my son's AOS/I-130 application two months after mine because he was waiting on a vaccination series (hep B i think) to be completed. My AOS was approved at the interview and his was sent to CSC and was approved 3 1/2 months after mine. Grrrrrr. I can file his on or after June 3rd, sigh.

I do all the paperwork because I have the temperament to do it; he doesn't. Much easier for the sanguine one to handle it and let the firecracker sign his or her name, all in the pursuit of continued connubial bliss. :luv:

So true! ;)

My little firecracker really has no talent for paperwork whatsoever and every once in a while he manages to sneak something by me, meaning it lands on his big stack of papers or vanishes into thin air and then he gets all upset when I need it and he has to find it.

But I sent my package out Tuesday, so it's peaceful again at our house :lol:

Interesting to see CSC has our two cases on the same track featherB, I think it is a good sign that office is reasonably efficient! Now where are our biometric notices!!! :yes:

I know what you mean about the biometrics! I feel like I should have gotten that appointment letter already!!! It's so worrisome thinking that you will miss the appt. if the letter gets waylaid.

Hello everybody..

It`s been a while since I posted on here...after all it`s also been about two years that USCIS has bugged

me for the last time, however as I read on here; back in the loving arms of the USCIS"..lol

Anyway, I am as well about to file the I-751 and I would love to hear people`s opinions on my assembled

package so far.....

At the moment this is what it looks like;

- I-751 forms (filled out jointly completely and accurate) 2 forms

- A money order for $545 USD, Associated Bank. (Filing fee and Biometrics)

- Copies of Airplane/Train tickets from our 3 week European trip (2008) and other trips.(4 pages)

- Copies of envelopes of holiday/birthday cards received on our address. (6 pages)

- Copies of dental statements showing our jointly dentist visits over the last two years (3 pages)

- Copies of Employer benefits enrollment listing spouse as dependent (4 pages)

- Copy of confirmation of 401-K plan listing spouse as beneficiary (1 page)

- Copies of forms of 2007-2008 taxreturns listing both names (3 pages)

- Copies of front and back of Permanent Residence Card (2 pages)

- One photo CD containing 130+ pictures taken between 2006-2009 verifying our ongoing relationship (vacations, trips, family photo`s)

- Copy of Sheraton Hotel bill listing both credit cards being billed. (1 page)

- Copy of letter from Dep. Of Homeland Security to file for a joint petition to remove the conditional basis of my permanent resident status

- Copy of pet adoption contract listing both our names as pet owners. (1 page)

- Copy of pet trainer organization listing both names on same address (1 page)

- Copy of Sears Credit Cards showing joint account. (1 page)

- 2 sworn affidavits by close friends verifying our marriage. (2 pages)

We don`t have our own car and at the moment we still live in our Inlaw`s house so we don`t pay rent...

(I know living with inlaws doesn`t sound that great, but I`m very luck and got the best inlaws in the world :)

Any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated!!

Thanks !!

Hello everybody..

It`s been a while since I posted on here...after all it`s also been about two years that USCIS has bugged

me for the last time, however as I read on here; back in the loving arms of the USCIS"..lol

Anyway, I am as well about to file the I-751 and I would love to hear people`s opinions on my assembled

package so far.....

At the moment this is what it looks like;

- I-751 forms (filled out jointly completely and accurate) 2 forms I'm not sure if you meant two forms or two pages? Why two forms?

- One photo CD containing 130+ pictures taken between 2006-2009 verifying our ongoing relationship (vacations, trips, family photo`s) I don't think they would keep or try to see what's on the CD, as you know, national security is afraid of computer virus, so please select some of them, may be 10-15 should be enough, print them out and include with your package.

You could have your inlaws write an affidavit saying that you two are living in the house and your inlaws don't require you two to pay them rent or anything. That would explain to them why no joint rent lease or mortgage. Also do you sometimes receive any junk mails that have you guys name? Throw in some of those to prove your address. How about state ID/driver license that shows the same address (which is the inlaws address)? Do you two own cars? Have auto insurance together? Hope those help!

Any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated!!

Thanks !!
