Ok, I just got a letter today that my application has been approved. Online still says that they received my application in MAY etc. Online was not updated once! Not even for biometrics. Supposedly, I will receive the greencard within 2 weeks.

Congrats, Killer Clown! Our online status was never updated either but my notice gave 60 days for the card production. Hopefully, yours will come within the promised 2 weeks.

I will keep my fingers crossed for those who are still waiting.

@ sandy_cheeks:

All your questions have been answered (and I don't know if you'll check back in this thread) but I just wanted to say that I blacked out all very personal financial information on the papers I sent with my I-751 application... ie credit card numbers, bank account and routing numbers etc. I didn't black out anything on the tax info though (I felt like this was my strongest piece of evidence and I didn't want to mess with it).

I am sure you will be fine!

Finally!!! :dance:

I was starting to get worried but today I finally got a letter saying that I am approved. The decision is dated 10/1 so all together that was 4 months … all things considered I guess that wasn’t too bad!

So, now I wait for the card and start preparing for citizenship. I am sure I will see you all in that forum too and I will keep praying for those who are still waiting for a reply.

By the way, my online status still has not been updated yet; I was last touched on 7/6. :bonk:

Jul 5 - Receipt date for I-130 petition for my over 21 brother and his wife (both in the UK)

Feb 23 - Sent USCIS a message asking for a processing update

May 6 - Received an email response saying things were progressing normally but that waiting times might be longer

Feb 25, 26 & 28 - got emails saying that the cases had been transferred to another office, then to my local office, and then just transferred and are being processed

Mar 17 - got email, attached to one case number only, saying that my A number was changed relating to the I-130 filing

  • August 21, 2006 received NOA1 in mail
  • October 4, 5, 7, 13 & 17 2006 Touches! 50 day address change... Yes Judith is beautiful, quit staring at her passport photo and approve us!!! Shaming works! LOL
  • October 13, 2006 NOA2! November 2, 2006 NOA2? Huh? NVC already processed and sent us on to Abu Dhabi Consulate!
  • February 12, 2007 Abu Dhabi Interview SUCCESS!!! February 14 Visa in hand!
  • March 6, 2007 she is here!
  • MARCH 14, 2007 WE ARE MARRIED!!!

Sorry guys no approval letter or online confirmation yet! I am happy for everyone else though. I guess I am not as anxious because I recently learned that my husband and I are expecting our second baby! So that's why I have my mind focused elsewhere. Guess what though, I will update you all as soon as I know.

I wouldn't be worried if I were you either. May folks are still getting approved and you filed at the end of the month, so you have some wiggle room before panic can be allowed to set in, lol. :wacko:
