We have been told so many different things of how we go about this process but could some of you give me some help and information on where to go to start the process off and what follows up from this

Thanks

Is your partner female?

Do you intend to get marred? If so when/where?

If you are interested in pursuing an immigration visa as fiances (intending to marry in the US within 90 days after the visa is approved) or as a married couple (i.e. marry before the visa filing), then you've come to the right place.

You'll find a lot of information here. Start with the Guides, FAQ, and Wiki at the top of this page. If you have additional questions you'll find many people here eager to help.

Good luck!

This gives a good overview of the process:

and this tells you how to start the ball rolling:

The guides are good place to start. From what we're seeing at the minute, provided your case is straightforward (e.g. no criminal convictions or previous overstays), if you applied today, you could have an interview by October/November. Once approved, you would then have 180 days (about six months) to enter the US, and another 90 days to get married.

Can I just ask if you've met in person yet?

The petition requires you to have met at least once (with evidence).

Your signature states that you started talking on MSN in March 2009. Was wondering if you guys had met yet.
