We just got our first RFE for our AOS Case that was transferred to CSC. The RFE asks for Local Police Clearance Documents from all municipaties resided in for the past 5 years. This is the standard "back up" criminal check process that USCIS uses when 2 attempts at Fingerprinting at the Biometric appointments yielded print images unusable by the FBI.

On an editorial note, I can't help but find this "back up" criminal check process quite laughable - it is full of fraud potential and relies on the petitioner to control the locations from where local police checks are obtained and submitted. It seems to me that a much more secure "back up" process would be to have the applicant be fingerprinted using the old card and ink process and have those fingerprints transmitted to the FBI for their background check to be completed.

Wishing Everyone Speed, Success, Happiness and Love,

TinTin and Samby
