Branch: ____________Air Force ______________

Yes. It will be one of following, not limited to...

Army (Yook-koon), Navy (Hae-koon), Air Force (Gong-koon), Marine (Hae-byeong)... Etc...

Rank/Position: ______Sargeant_______________

Such as ...

Sergeant (Byeong-jang, or ha-sa)

Corporal (Sang-byeong)....

(mm/dd/year) of service __________________________ ??? WHAT ARE THEY LOOKING FOR ? WHEN MILITARY SERVICE WAS COMPLETED ???

Probably asking for the date he/she completed the service.

If you are not sure, and use any form, you can try the service period like this.

03/15/2002 - 01/20/2004

to specify the whole period of service.

Military Specialty/Occupation: ___________What is this?? What does this mean?? _____________________

This is for his/her speciality/occupation he/she performed from the military (probably the one he/she performed when he/she discharged).

Usually it is specified in his/her military service completion record - jeon-yeok-jjeung-.

Such as 100 (Infantry men)...

THANKS GUYS for the response!

Yes, for some weird reason the DS 230 Part I form -- questoin # 24 forgot the english word DATES with an (S).... so, yes we put start and finished dates there.

As for: Military/Occupation: he put transportation... since he was driving most of the time ... driving people around... I suppose thats the answer =)

Thanks !!!

It doesn't matter much.

As long as consular officer understand it...

If not, he will ask questions.

It is more of informational purpose.

If somebody put "spy" or "espionage" for occupation, he/she may be getting into trouble.

Since the system changed a lot, I'm not sure whether this will work or not.

But when I translated "Jumindeungrok chobon", it had listed my military record, so my translated copy had military record from "Jumin Chobon".

Therefore I used that record for this question's answer.
