You see if I were working at Wendy's I can shove that manual to the restaurant manager's behind and tell him to go f himself if he doesn't wanna accept the paper work and sue his #### and the company big time and I would probably end up getting 50 bucks compensation for it....

When you are working for a billion dollar technology company where your immediate supervisors' net worth is well over couple of million bucks (not to mention management) they can fire you even if they don't like the way you are walking...You wanna fck with them? They will FIRE you BADMOUTH YOU (in a market where everyone knows each other)and END YOU...You wanna sue them? They will sue you back...We have in house attorneys in this office and couple of them working on a contingency basis...This company hires couple in house attorneys (nationwide)every year plus they have contracts with several large law firms....I do not have a small fortune to waste on legal fees.

In my case me with this piece of ###### expired green card and the letter I am STICKING OUT...You wanna reason to fire someone? Blame it on economic crisis, lack of efficiency, lost contracts....you can find 100 reasons in 60 seconds...Everyone is going belly up. Do you think any employer would hesitate to fire anyone in these conditions? Especially that dumb foreign guy who can't straighten out his green card?? If they get pissed off I am DONE. I have a family that I have to take care of...I wouldn't give rat's #### if we didn't have kids...

Do you think I don't know what that piece of ###### USCIS manual says or do you think that the our immigration attorney whose sole job is to deal with hundreds of people's eligibility to work in this country do not know what is states. Please...

The point is Conditional residence is a state of limbo...It is worthless...I don't care what USCIS claims conditional residency = garbage. USCIS claims a lot things as well...They claim that the applications are processed in a first come first serve basis....Soon they will start selling Washington bridge to immigrants too...

Let's get real here folks...

USCIS_VICTIM',

I was trying to help you out and calm you down, but you jumped back at me man. This is no way to reply back. I know what you as i am going through the situation. A lot of folks here on VJ work in Billion Dollar Companies but they never brag or say about it. It's just the way you deal with your employer matters. I know your company is big and all and have great immigration attorneys, but the reason i mentioned the info was just in case you or your company's attorney didn't know (which unfortunately most of time they don't).

The fact, Removing condition is indeed useless, but we have to obey laws and follow them. So i think we can't anything except wait and complain about it.

my employer did not ask, I did not give them info. simple.

Removing conditions equals an unlimited time in having not a clue what the present or the future holds.I dont care who says having a case pending dont affect your status in the USA it does and thats the truth. So to the people who waited short times please realise that there are other people waiting longer and that the belittling of our situation /USCIS victims does not help.

About ten days ago I sent a letter directly to the CSC asking about the status of my petition. I mean what the heck, the online case status has never changed and the hotline has no information. I figured I had nothing to lose. I received a letter back from them today basically telling me to take a hike! Okay what they actually said was to check the USCIS website for status or to call the hotline. Hello, in my letter I said there was no update! Very frustrating. I'm really trying to let it go and just relax but you know how it is when you get worked up about something and you can't shake it until it's resolved? As another member mentionned on this thread, I will try my best to just go forward and collect the materials I need for the next step of naturalization. In the meantime I will see my Congresswoman's Immigration Specialist next week (I don't hold out much hope for help based on the customer service she has offered thus far).

To make myself feel better today, I wrote to President Obama about immigration reform. He has a website that you can submit up to 5,000 words. If you caught his press conference last night, he mentionned that he wanted things in motion within the year. I know he was really talking about illegal immigrants but as far as I'm concerned, there are fundamental problems with 'legal' immigration.

Your posts really make me laugh not in a bad way.But i 100% know how you feel.A couple months ago i was parasitically checking the USCIS website after transfer now i check maybe 8 times. Its like we are outcasts at USCIS.More like the untouchables and biblical leppers they wont even acknowldge we exist in the process. When i think about it like that i can laugh.I only get really mad when a new poster says i got approved in 60 days thats what boils my blood.I have also cut back on my mailbox stalking because 2 months ago i swore my letter of approval would have been in the mailbox any day.Now its oh someone else got approved in 60 days simply ignore to not make blood pressure go up.It feels good to vent on this website evn if im a broken record.I amnot alone.

That is so true!!! Before they want to legalize the illegals, they better fix their broken system first.

...I would rather have Obama fixing the economy mess we are in right now. I mean, what's a green card for if there are no jobs!

That's true but as Obama said last night, the immigration issue is an integral part of the economic situation and it has to be dealt with as part of the problem.

I HATE THE HELPLESSNESS THAT COMES WITH THE THE IMMIGRATION PROCESS. YOU FEEL SO POWERLESS. SO VULNERABLE. ITS LIKE YOU WAKE UP EVERYDAY AND HOPE THE ADJUDICATOR`S WIFE DOESNT YELL AT HIM OR HE CLD TAKE IT OUT ON YOU WITH AN RFE OR JUST LET YOU PEND SOME MORE.

Its been seven months and my paperwork was so meticulate that when I see a 5 wk approval whop says " and all I had was an I love you note from my husband", I feel low. Its like maybe I had a betta hot if I hadnt spent more time preparing.

Dude,

you deserve your own thread!

Just applied for a mortgage loan...can't get an approval...I am told to provide proof of PERMANENT residence and the piece of sht expired green card and the approval letter are not cutting it! I applied to 3 banks...I have 740 credit score and I am putting almost 45 percent down...Still being refused because I can not provide PERMANENT residence!

On the other hand, I personally know people who bought houses being here on H1B visa. So. Something does not add up here!

CR-1 Timeline

March'07 NOA1 date, case transferred to CSC

June'07 NOA2 per USCIS website!

Waiver I-751 timeline

July'09 Check cashed.

Jan'10 10 year GC received.

rika60607,

USCIS_VICTIM's last login was 15th May 2009. I don't think she or he will come back here soon... :)

I think mainyasha wants to get some response and posted on this thread...
