Check not cashed - AOS

Hi its exciting to read about everyones journey and to know how things are going for everyone.

I'm a little bit concerned I sent it my docouoment for AOS I got married to my loving hubby in Nov, filed end of Feb got a delivery confirmation March 9th but I'm worried since my check hasn't been cashed yet. It's been 2 months since the documents were sent to chicago lockbox

We were planning to travel to my home country in Nov but at this rate I'm scared we might not go since I haven't heard anything yet.

Has anyone ever had this delay or I'm I just too anxious?

2 months? normally, you should've your NOA and Biometrics already, and of course, the check should've been cashed already. usually, it may take them a while to send you the NOA's and other things needs to be sent but not the cashing of the checks. you can call USCIS but i dont think it would be easy for them to look at your case since you dont have any case number yet, but still that's the best thing that you can do. i'm sure there's someone here who can give you a better advice.

To me that seems odd. We sent our AOS package in January, and the checks were cashed in about 2 weeks.
