Beth, honey it is going to be ok. I believe soon you will have an answer. Then you will be able to relax some. I won't promise it gets easier but at least you feel like progress is being made!!!

I wish I could just sleep till its over with, but I know its not a reality, but its how I feel. Just sleep , and dream of my husband. He is what I live for.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

I feel the same way. There are days when we are on webcam that I get sooooo angry. I try to be positive about it all but it is really tough. You just feel like days of your lives together are being STOLEN and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it

Stopping in for Beth support.

Come on CSC with the RFE already! :ranting: :protesting:

I want an approval thread ASAP!

and (F) to everyone else who is still waiting for an approval or movement on your case. I know how you feel. I suggest that you use this time to connect more with your SO, take advantage of the fact that you *have* to connect on a more intimate level with your hubby/wife than someone who has them at home everyday.

I promise that if you use this time wisely and when this nightmare is over...you will see that the time you spent apart only made you stronger as a couple.

Here's to CSC approvals

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive, and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

Thanks!

Any comments?????

Yesterday, June 22, 2009, USCIS announced that it will resume the “Premium Processing Service” for certain categories of Form I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker. Generally, the Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker is the second step in the employment-based Permanent Residency Process. Under the Premium Processing Service, USCIS guarantees petitioners that, for a $1,000 processing fee, it will issue either an approval notice, or where appropriate, a notice of intent to deny, a request for evidence or open an investigation for fraud or misrepresentation, within 15 calendar days of receipt.

According to USCIS, it will accept Premium Processing Requests for petitions involving EB-1 Aliens with Extraordinary Ability, EB-1 Outstanding Professors and Researchers, EB-2 Members of Professions with Advanced Degrees or Exceptional Ability not seeking a National Interest Waiver, EB-3 Professionals, EB-3 Skilled Workers, and EB-3 Workers other than Skilled Workers and Professionals.

Courtney, that's a great way to look at it. I try to be that way too. Not be to upset everyday. Anyhow, good luck to us all!

Yes Courtney does have a great way to deal and look at things. I truly wish I was like that. I just worry about husbands residency card expiring in France Nov. 6th, he will have to leave France, and I dont want him to return to Algeria. Trying so hard to get thru this and have the latest a October interview. We will see again what this week brings. Short week for me, off Friday. Happy 4th of July all, may God bless us all.

Beth,

Thanks sweets but you know even I have my down days. When I do you and the others are here to pick me up. I am really hopeing that you get his visa situated before november. At least you know you have that 129f to fall on just in case you dont end up with enough time for NVC to process. You can always just push ahead with the interview.

((beth))

just remember hearts and rainbows, stars and sunshine. The little things make you happy and forgeting the small things helps.

this comes after a 30 dollar conversation with the husband though so pardon my chipperness.

:) I am happy, for the first time in years I come home and I am happy to walk into my house with my kids and sit and talk to my husband about absolutly nothing. we could talk about the weather or pop culture news, and I wouldnt care if it was world news or gossip. The fact that he is 7000 miles away is making us stronger as a couple, and making me hate goverment processes more.

ok done spreading the love today. for the salt to rub in the wound

The K1 visas are easier to process, and as we know every job has a quota. If you have a case that you dont have to check a marriage cert or ton of proof what do you think you will do first. the one you know you can finish 6 a day of or the one you can only clear one or two.

Ok just my 2 pennies but its an idea.

see you tomorrow ladies and germs
