Not to sound awful, when I saw the K3 touch I texted my best friend she is a nurse, told her to get E.R. room ready for me, then I got sick. Im so nervous, my nerves are shaking. Staying close to trash can now, UGH!!!!! Give me some relief.

Truly happy!!!

New life, new adventures, and a new attitude.

nah you are totally entitled to feeling that way

this has been a long process with lots of stress

and its even harder when your hubby is the love of your life and best freind and u can't stand to be away from him for even a minute

so do whatever it takes to let it out as long as it keeps you from going insane its all good

Well you know this is when things get interesting. Anyway, I called NVC and learned some interesting information. Evidently, they schedule interviews the second weak of each month for the FOLLOWING month. So this week they are scheduling folks for July. She told me to call back next week to see if we made the cut for July. I am thinking we will get an August interview at the earliest.

Congratulations for u and your hubby :)

these are so lovely news i must tell , yeah its :)

yeah Beth

thats true ...this list start to apear at Jan ..there is 3400 Egyptian who won the lottery ...reserving half of the slots every month (not fair , family should come first before any other type of visas unless urgent )

ADD to this that US embassy here is required to conduct Interviews for another two Countries (Sudan and Somalia ) during the wars there bla bla ..so US consulates there work only for US citizen and Emergencies (lost passports ...affiavits ..etc ) ,,so let me put it that way ( half of the month slot for lottery ...0.25 for Sudan , somalia and other countreis residence in Cairo , and 0.25 for all other family Visa types (k1,k3,CR-IR-F ETC etc )

and u can see that most of us got a case complete now about a month already ..and still waiting ............................

i ust tell ..im annoyed with this .

Hey Paris..

What's a Diversity Lottery winner? I know, I'm curious as a cat today!

Diversity lottery is a lottery was put by congress tha enable ppl to register online and the computer choose randomly the winner to immigrate to the US and live and work there ...

not all countries are eligible to that type of Visa (DV ) ,,only low rate Immigrations countries to US , Canada ..Phili and other countreis are not eligible due to the high rate of immigrants of these countries to the US

ALSO that lottery is 50.000 visas every year by law ..no more ..no les (they must be all used if possible )

well ...there is 3400 Egyptians as u know won that year , looking to the numbers every month they conduct Interviews so i believe that our Us embassy here never get enough of it ..but i believe its some how low number in months starting Oct and till DEC ..then it start over again ...because lottery are made in advance ...i mean ..the 2010 is already selected and their interviews will begin on Jan 2010 or around it .. and in oct 2009 or nov (i dnt really remember ) the 2011 lottery open online for registeration ///bla bla ...

u got ur case complete ..and i do agree with u that u May get an early August interview ...as of u ..no one know ..may be we be with u still looking to the mess in our Embassy ..and may be lucky to get one in July ...we will see
