Thank you so much we are delighted to have our approval. It has been a long time waiting and to think that we have that behind us is so wonderful.

People here on visajourney receive such support from others they have never seen. It is indeed a worthwhile community and I believe reflects US immigration in that we have people from all over the world contributing and helping one another to obtain their common goals to be united with their loved ones.

Thank yall (did I say it right?) and visa journey for enabling such a common support forum.

Beth we hope you are approved very soon and we feel sure you will be all these "touches" are a good sign.

We would like everyone to know that Roberta and I were approved yesterday and have just been informed. We are as you can imagine over the moon as it is the first step in being re united and we just are speechless really.

This took us 231 days from NOA 1 a period of 7.7 months so please do not despair if your approval seems so long in coming. It is stressful the not knowing and the being apart when you know there is so much to do at home with your loved one. Your approval will come just keep the faith.

Best Wishes for all

Arthur and Roberta

Well you know this is when things get interesting. Anyway, I called NVC and learned some interesting information. Evidently, they schedule interviews the second weak of each month for the FOLLOWING month. So this week they are scheduling folks for July. She told me to call back next week to see if we made the cut for July. I am thinking we will get an August interview at the earliest.

Kind regards,

Not at all I will happily share what occurred

I had inquired if the case had been dispatched to London through our congressman's rep, as I was wanting to see my sons who I have not seen for a long time and had booked flights in early July. What I was intending doing was contacting the London embassy and giving them advance notice of this in order that they would not schedule me for the interview during that period.

The rest is history they must have gone ahead and adjudicated it in Durham and out of the blue we get approval information by email from our congressman's rep.

Thank you again everybody for being so nice.

Arthur and Roberta
