Give them a little more time it doesnt appear that they are working any CR1 cases right now anyway. We are on the back burner. I am sure they didnt send an RFE for calling all the time. If they did then shame on them Karma is a bad thing it will come back to them in time.

Been quiet here, nothing, no touches or approvals. Hopefully they will put down work visa, and hit the fmaily ones again soon.

Bets, thanks for the call last evening. After talking to you, I saw things a bit clearer, now hope USCIS dont kill my hopes.

Its Wednesday, already feels like a full week been put in at the office here.

I paid Saturday and as of this morning it's STILL not posted. See girls, the frustration is here EVEN at the NVC stage

This whole immigration process is frustrating. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Oh well, be careful. I need to wash my car too, and my truck. Maybe this weekend. Keep checking with NVC, status can change anytime.

What I don't understand if why are they issuing so many work Visa's when it's hard enough for US citizens to find work. No wonder so many us citizens are po'd by immigrants. >_< I doubt I will tell anyone at first that I'm an immigrant once I move to the US, I don't want anyone thinking I took their job. I hate to say it, but in modern times, that is what we're facing. ):

I rarely get burnt, I mean... the painful type. BUT my skin gets toasted... and I don't want that. Hehe. White skin is a big thing here in Asia so I don't wanna get dark skin (not that there's anything wrong with it) but my mother will freak out and get mad at me for soaking under the sun.

I'm off to Singapore and Malaysia in June 3.... can't wait to get away from all these. BUT I wish hubby could go.. he's staying in US. I'm visiting my brother in Singapore.. might be the last time we get to see each other for a long time.

Hi!! Not sure if this applies to all cases.. but in the Philippines... when a company send a person to US for work

usually they get local salary plus living allowance in US. That is still lower salary rate compared to hiring locals.

Or so my brother says, he got sent to US for work couple of years ago. And rumor has it that foreigners are more

willing to work or hold two or three working positions than the locals for only one salary base.

But that's what I heard.. don't know the rest.

you should've seen the number of 'whitening' products available here. EVERYTHING has some formula of whitening. Face cream, lotion, soap, capsules, and cosmetic products. it's crazy!!

yeah it seems to be that way... but Filipini men usually wants lighter skinned women. At least that's what the media is telling us.

I'm a Chinese... 100%, so I have a yellowish skin... not too white though due to sun exposure.

If we get to have a kid, I'm hoping it would look like my hubby. He's supposed to be Italian/German/XXX we do not know anymore... haha. He lost track of his own race. And I hope the baby will get his father's height. I'm quite short.. only 5'1.
