I am feeling a bit more positive than I have been, since finding out we have been assigned to and officer. We were not told anything until yesterday. Before that told same as what the website says....LOL yet it still says received and pending

i was looking at your timeline, and i noticed we both sent the petition on the same day. Well, my Hubby sent it in the mail on March 12, but it wasnt until the 13th that it was really delivered.

Well, no NOA2 yet. But I do believe, ours will be coming in our way this May!!

hello mr simps here. i am now worried that it is taking long becuase they are looking at our first case number which was for a k1 visa. they denied it becuase we never met before filing. and becuase we didnt sign the applications. i made one mistake on my wife's name. i put it without the middle name. but now she is going by her married name which is her first name then my name so its competely new. also we appealed it but it was dismissed. i just never knew they would make it so hard on us. any thoughts about if this will be a probelm for us?

Mr. Simps, the K1 is dead and buried with USCIS. Your married now, I doubt it will be a probelm. Just make sure you have all evidence for interview, may successful CR-1 filing after K1 was denied.

Yes this is a hard process on us, one we will never forget!!! U.S. citizens take the blunt of frustration in this process cause we are dealing with our home country government, and shaking our heads in dei-belief of this process. DISNEYLAND!!!

Ok, how is everyone today. I am gettin ready to curl up in a corner of the atlanta airport. i am hopeing for a smidgen of sleep. fly tomorrow to Paris and then to Amman. I am thinking good idea i need to at least see paris through the glass before i lose all my flight benifits.

Almost there already in atlanta so maybe I will hit the marta tomorrow and chill downtown for a bit before the flights dunno

Beth is your laptop working ok for you ? any news yet ?

Betsy well when do you think your going to finish NVC im curious to see how close you get to the actuall date ...

Hmmm lets see If I had it my way I wouldnt be coming home. I had a bad job thing happen recently and there is an opening at the embassy in Amman... really kind of thinking about it since boy genius decided to get in a fight at school.....

I am scheduled to come home this Wed but I have a sitter all the way to Saturday so I might stay until Friday night... all depends how "busy" hubster is. LOL I am glad I can say that with a slight sense of humor now ... a week ago i would have taken his head off. As usual I get upset before i come about little things and then when i get close or i get there i just let it all go because we have SO LITTLE TIME i dont want to waste it bickering...

Beth, I got to see about 30 min or paris had to get back to the airport to check in. YAK .. the city was beautiful .. the parts i saw in 30 min very archetectural (sp?)

I am really suprised with myself I have not checked the website or called since I got that upseting vanilla response lady.

I am going to check flight time.... will be back later today...

Glad to hear from you. Wish you could of seen Paris for more then 30 minutes. I truly fell in love with Paris, and cant wait to return in a couple of months. Hubster will be glad to see you, I hope you have a wonderful visit, it will do you some good to be with him. Bets, I slept all day Saturday thru Sunday morning pratically. Got up a few times only for few minutes. I guess the week took its toll on me. Not had my phone on for almost 2 days, just wanted to sleep, hoping things would be clearer, wish I could say that they are. Im going to turn in, was up long enough today to run some erronds, and was some linen, now im going to be comfty in my nice sheet bed and go back to sleep. Night Hon, see ya'll tomorrow. Good morning Castaways. Happy Memorial Day. Be safe if you go out. Lets all try to enjoy last day of our extended weekend, all this immigration will be back to normal tomorrow for all of us.

I noticed some K1s started to get approvals from 5-18 cali and well vermont almost doesnt even count...

I decided yesterday at the dead sea this will be my last trip to Jordan unless I can come for the interview. Its to hard on everyone. It only took me three trips to realize it

Its kind of crazy when I am at home all I can do is think about here and when I am here I feel guilty for not being at home. LOL I guess I can just never be happy.

Well all, USCIS has had evidence for 7 days now, officer should be getting it anyday in basket now. I pray its positive news this week. Still cant understand why he or she did not see it before, Maybe I sent too much, afterall I sent in almost 3 years of evidence. Or maybe teaches me not to call USCis once a week, RFE issued for meanness? Who knows. I know Im like a person blind folded tittering on a cliff waiting to hear something. I pray it is this week. One Good day would do me wonders.
