Beth, I know you are scared and I would be too. I cannot imagine the hell you are going through. I really feel blessed to have everything moving along as quickly as we have. I really think this whole proxy marriage x 2 is part of what's freaking them out and hard for them to comprehend. It is bad because at least if they could call on the phone or actually meet with you in person then you could explain your situation and possibly it would all then make sense. This correspondence is for the birds. I am praying for you guys. Something good has to happen soon dear!!!

Well Bets, I dont think its the proxy marriage thing at all. ither, they lost my evidence, or did not bother to go thru the minds of paperwork I sent. What I re-sent shows we were together, especially the pics of us with the newspapers, they were purchased after or marriage date, but yet dated before I left France. They can match up the dates from marriage date on cert. and my passport stamp into France, and my ticket, boarding pass out of France. I even wrote in cover sheet, all newspapers are in my posession and can be inspected at USCIS HOuston office, I said I would be glad to go there for a interview. Plus all the ATM transactions we did, gave them copies of our ATM cards so they can see his fcard number on his recipts and same for mine, transaction done within 30 seconds, 2 minutes, and another , all show same place, same date , that we were together, and I sent our honeymoon DVD, it shows dates and etc. and several shots of us , cause we turned camera around to face us. I truly have no feeling of what is going to happen.

I have been trying to get a hold of them to find out if my case has been assigned to an officer but I get the same response that I read on the website. I even asked if I can speak to someone who may be able to answer the question and she said no. What did you say to find out if it has been assigned?

If you've been assigned to an officer already... your NOA2 is sure to come! So long as they don't find anything to RFE you.

If you've been assigned to an officer already... your NOA2 is sure to come! So long as they don't find anything to RFE you.

hello mr simps here. i am now worried that it is taking long becuase they are looking at our first case number which was for a k1 visa. they denied it becuase we never met before filing. and becuase we didnt sign the applications. i made one mistake on my wife's name. i put it without the middle name. but now she is going by her married name which is her first name then my name so its competely new. also we appealed it but it was dismissed. i just never knew they would make it so hard on us. any thoughts about if this will be a probelm for us?

Ok, how is everyone today. I am gettin ready to curl up in a corner of the atlanta airport. i am hopeing for a smidgen of sleep. fly tomorrow to Paris and then to Amman. I am thinking good idea i need to at least see paris through the glass before i lose all my flight benifits.

Almost there already in atlanta so maybe I will hit the marta tomorrow and chill downtown for a bit before the flights dunno

Beth is your laptop working ok for you ? any news yet ?

i was looking at your timeline, and i noticed we both sent the petition on the same day. Well, my Hubby sent it in the mail on March 12, but it wasnt until the 13th that it was really delivered.

Well, no NOA2 yet. But I do believe, ours will be coming in our way this May!!
