Beth, I was thinking this week for your approval.

The week is nearly over so I do hope I was correct and it is in the mail for you right now.

You are indeed deserving and surely the approval cannot be too far off.

You are indeed in many peoples thoughts and prayers.

Best wishes

Arthur and Roberta

Arthur Roberta, Where are you in the process? I know you have also waited for a very long time. is you NOA2 with you yet.

Good Morning Beth, Did you call yesterday in the afternoon?

I am thinking my two cases got seperated and got asssinged to two different officers and it is not making sense to the officers. so they have put my files on the back-burner. and they are working on your case to approve. That is why you should get your NOA2 before me.

I dont think I will hear from the USCIS for another 6 months, And i am not kidding. :) I know I will have to go the senators, and probably file WOM later. :crying:

But since I handed all of that to HIM, I will go on with my life.

Ok, this is how I dance

My goodness you made me laugh, what good spirit. You and Beth have such good attitudes and will hopefully hear some good news soon. Yes Roberta is due an I-130 interview later in the month and hopefully we shall be approved and another step towards being together again. Roberta and her twin daughters are coming to the UK on the 17th May till the 25th so we are so excited about that. It has allowed us to focus on that joy instead of the immigration process which though is daily in our thoughts has taken more of a back seat.

The UK government is currently assessing those that served in the Gurkha's to have permanent residency in the UK. As you are from Nepal (Guessing here) you may be aware of that. The Gurkha's have served with distinction in the British army for decades and an actress Joanna Lumley is actively pursuing their case for them. I am so pleased as I feel it is only right that they should be able to reside in the UK having served our country as well as they have.

Meanwhile we wait and hope and pray for relief from what to us seems like an eternity. I know myself there is so many things back home that need doing or I can do, that is what frustrates me so much. I hate it that Roberta has to cope without me. It's not that she isn't capable but it is so much easier when your SO is there to help. Trying to be positive, I do believe this separation has made us appreciate one another all the more and we shall most definitely not wish to be parted ever again. It has strengthened our resolve and made us more aware of the deep love we have for one another.

We shall get through this in time and I wish you all the very best.

I havent called since end of last month and I do not intend to ..... I am leaving my city in less than two weeks and well to be honest... being giving incorrect or missleading information by someone who doesnt know their job just isnt cool.

Any how I am off to do some lawn care ... getting outside makes me feel all warm and fuzzy.... I took a day off job #1 I needed the break .... :)

ENJOY your Friday pepperonies..... heheheeeee

Oh God, your words welled my eyes up. I am going through the same semtiments. My spouse is enduring all she can back home, yet holding on the faith that someday, oneday we will be united. We do talk and chat . However, that is not the same as being together. Its been two years I have not seen her or my child in person. God bless you and your family Arthur.

Yes , Gurkhas started getting into British army after the treaty of Sugauli on March 4, 1816. Then India was a British Colony and Nepal was expanding under the rule of early Shah Kings. Since then many Gurkha's have carried weapons on behalf of the Kings and Queens of England. Some of the noticeable events are World War II, Fokland, East Timore and so many others. I do beleive, those who have fought on your behalf deserve to reside in England with dignity, so that they could provide better future for their coming generations and yet server the country.

I checked your timeline and it did not mention about your NOA2 and so was curious. I remember you opened up a thread regarding the October 2008 filers, and being one of them , I helped expand your thread a bit :)

Congratulations!! Roberta will breeze through the interview. I am excited for you.
