Hi everyone,

My husband and I are new to this and we are sending out our paperwork today. Can't wait!! Wanted to introduce ourselves, because I'm sure we'll have questions.

Adjustment of Status

04/29/2009 AOS packet sent priority mail w/ delivery confirmation to USCIS in Chicago

05/01/2009 Delivered in Chicago, IL

05/07/2009 Checks for I-485 and I-130 cashed

05/07/2009 NOA received for I-485, I-130, I-131 & I-765

05/18/2009 Biometrics letter received - appointment on 05/29/2009

05/29/2009 Biometrics appointment completed - in & out in 15 minutes

06/09/2009 Approval notice sent for AP

06/12/2009 EAD card production ordered

06/15/2009 AP received in the mail

06/16/2009 EAD approval notice sent

06/18/2009 EAD arrived in mail!!

06/24/2009 Received notice of interview date (08/11/2009)

06/26/2009 Received notice of cancellation of interview by USCIS due to unforeseen circumstances :(

07/05/2009 Received notice of new interview date (08/18/2009)

08/18/2009 Interview with USCIS - approved!

08/29/2009 Received permanent resident card in the mail!

Time from sending application to receiving green card in mail = 4 months

Removal of Conditions

08/08/2011 Mailed off I-751 packet priority mail with delivery confirmation to the California Service Center

08/12/2011 Check cashed by the California Service Center

08/15/2011 NOA received in the mail

09/15/2011 Date received for Biometrics appointment

Welcome and good luck...

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.
