My husband missed his k3 visa because he received appointment letter 3weeks after the appointment. Embassy says they have already sent him another letter, but it has been 10 day and still nothing. Can he pick it up at the embassy and if so, what can he present to the guards?

Another issue we have is that all original documents we had to present at his k3 visa appointment have already been sent to the National Visa Center in the US for his Resicency case. Would the Embassy allow copies of the original documents if we reschedule the appointment?

Why not wait and do the CR-1 interview when it comes up. MUCH better visa than the K3.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Let him go to the embassy with the outdated letter, for sure the security guards will let him in. Im not sure if he need to collect a packet from the embassy but they have a lot of info , he can always ask at the gate.
