k1 visa process...

Hello My fiance is American and I am British..

we first filed the k1 process back in August 08. Things have gone quite smoothly and I have just sent the last of the paperwork to the embassy in London .. and now I await notice of my interview date..

Does anyone know on average how long it takes for your interview at London to happen?

I am so eager and anxious to start my life with my fiance... we have lived apart for almost a year now and have only seen each other three times in the year

The whole process has been so long and drawn out... it is such a relief to finally see an end to it....

It is a terribly long and inefficient process that takes months and months longer than it should.
