can I ask those who had already interviewed or those preparing for interview like me, do we need to pay document verification fee which is 650 to the metrobank? iam for the case of IR1 and IR2 for my son.thanks!

Document Verification is NO longer used by the USEM since Oct 2008. So there is no need to pay it.

04.22.2011 -------Biometrics Appointment

08.29.2011--------APPROVED! GC RECEIVED!

There is no Document Verification Fee needed and Air21 for visa delivery.

10/25 Received letter from USEM

11/21-11/22 Med Exam

12/02 Interview date, 7AM (Approved)

12/10 Visa on Hand

Date & Place of POE: 12/17 Detroit

The USEM web sites instructions for K1/K3/IR&CR-1 Visa no longer do mention it. What is the URL that your finding anything about document verification?

The USEM web sites instructions for K1/K3/IR&CR-1 Visa no longer do mention it. What is the URL that your finding anything about document verification?

I think she is refering to 4.5 in the Manila Embassy K1 Visa Guide sticky. It has needed to be updated for a long time, but Sheriff Uling has not been around.

oh u mean there is no verification of records now in the use..? just the docs. got from nso is ok with them?, sabagay, it is in the security paper already... no need to verify it....

N-400:
May 9, 2017: N-400 packet was sent
May 15, 2017: NOA1 
June 05, 2017: Biometric Done
June 19, 2017: Case is in Line for an Interview
June 25, 2018: USCIS Scheduled an Interview
Aug. 02, 2018: Interview Date- APPROVED!

No DV anymore, sis! Glad you asked here in VJ. I wasted my 650 last December paying the DV.

Delbros says they're gonna give me a refund. Unfortunately, that didn't happen. :angry:
