Happy Tuesday!

Hope it's a good day for everyone.

I feel sooo much better today. I have been under a huge amount of stress due to a job issue. All is good now and I am staying in my desk at my current job. I was being reqruited to a different store and tho it sounded like a good deal, something didn't feel right. I prayed for guidance in my decision. This has been eating at me for almost 3 months. Yesterday, I did what was best, and turned down the new offer.

Sooooooo I need to email Jordan now and see what they want. 2 visa specialists at DOS said that Amman is trying to contact Ibrahim.

This is exceptional news Jackie! I hope it means the waiting is over and he'll be on his way very soon sweetie! Keep us posted for sure!

By the way Happy Tuesday MENA!!! I hope everyone's day gets better! My son has his 8th birthday today, and we're getting ready for pizza for dinner!YIPPIE--Mom doesn't have to cook!

Hubby has been working for about a month, and seems to like it so far,,, he made a friend, who drives him home from work daily. Its pretty cool! Not sure how long this job will last tho- he isn't making very much, but we all know getting a new job is easier when you already have one! We'll see how the drivers lisence thing goes. He's doing pretty good- drives EVERYWHERE we go these days... its pretty crazy at times! I guess all those years of observing other Jordanian nutty drivers rubbed off on him. We get to go pay his first speeding ticket to day when he gets off too!lol! Take care all! Much love!-Amy

Day 2 of the cheese in my body battle. Let it be known no more dairy for this girl. Sorry I can't partake in the coffee even. :(

Your body will thank you for that.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

Day 2 of the cheese in my body battle. Let it be known no more dairy for this girl. Sorry I can't partake in the coffee even. :(

Olivia I went through a phase when I was lactose intolerant. It was brutal and lasted about 2 years.

In retrospect I am sure it was due to high stress levels and was IBS. Sounds icky I know but if I didn't have any dairy I was fine.

If I had anything with dairy I would be doubled over in pain and having to make emergency stops to the bathroom.

I swear one day, I just started eating it little by little and was fine again.

I sense you got alot on your plate and you are sensitive like me. Your body is just digesting your stress this way.

I hope you feel better girlfriend.

Henna I can't wait to see BrideWars myself. How was it?

Amal....I am actually glad I don't have to worry about hubby driving just yet (i.e. accidents, additional chances of moving violations and eventually late nights). He never had a license in Maroc, although he "claims" to be able to drive.

The one time I drove with him after a night of drinking, I knew he was a bad driver. Another time I rented a car, and very hesitantly let him practice, in a huge parking lot, stick shift. You know what he still is thankful I gave him that opportunity/lesson. There was no traffic to compete with, nothing really damaging he could have done to the car but all I remember was I took a nap and he drove around for about an hour replaying the same Moroccan song over and over. I miss those days. :(

How little by little is little? Because I tried just a little bit say like a 12 oz. latte and that upsets my tummy even. It could be stress or it could be this cleanse I just did for three months. The cleanse cleans all the toxins out of your internal organs restoring you to optimal health and they say sometimes you body changes after that going back to it's original state. My Mom told me my younger brother and I were lactose intolerant as kids. When our Dad and Step Mom got us they told her no we weren't and fed us milk and dairy and we had problems for awhile until we adjusted. I do remember I used to break out in hives all over my body from it but didn't realize that was what it was until I was just reading about lactose intolerance yesterday and today. Now as an adult I haven't drank much milk in a long time and with doing this cleanse I think I am back to my normal state of intolerance for dairy like when I was a kid. Ha and I am the Grand Daughter of a former dairy farmer. That explains my Dad and now ex-Step Mom's ideology. I am unsure if that's a good thing or a bad thing all I know is it's super painful like I wouldn't believe. :(

If it's purely lactose intolerance and you want something with milk you can try Lactaid. BUT, with the hives historically - it may be an actual food allergy [like to the casein in the milk]. That completely stinks either way you look at it but you should totally listen to your body!

My older brother is deathly allergic to all kinds of nuts. I never really thought about it before for me but I think you might be right that I am having a food allergy. I talked to Waleed about it and he said he is going to test me when I get there and look at some labs to be sure.
