13. If you are a U.S. citizen, complete the following

i puted through parents and have u obtained a certifate under your own name i MARKED NO BEACUSE I THOUGHT SINCE I HAVE A U.S PASSPORT THAT IM GOOD I DONT NEED ONE I WAS BORN IN YEMEN THEN LATER MY MOM WAS DIGGING MY DAD (R.I.P) PAPERS AND SHE FOUND IT WITH MY NAME SO THAT MEAN I SPPOSE TO PUT A YES WHAT WOULD THEY DO I DID SEND A COPY OF MY PASSPORT PLZZZZ SOME ONE HELP ME

WHEN I FILLED OUT MY K3 I PUTED YES ON THE SAME QUESTION AND SENDED A COPY OULD THEY SAY HOW COME I DIDNT OR MARKED NO ON MY I-130

my mom just found it and i sended it with my k3 do u guys or girls think it will slow my case it stress me out please someone help me

what would happen

i sended my case on nov 11,2009 they got it on nov 13 then transfered to csc on jan 11 then i sended i-129 have feb 5 and uscis got it feb 13 and i havent heard anything from them still pending im worried please someone help

So, you marked "no" on the I-130, and "yes" on the 129f? What "copy" did you send with the I-129f?

It sounds like the worst that will happen is you will get an "RFE"( request for further evidence) on it. If you do, its nothing to freak out about. Just follow their instructions and send whatever it is they want.

Or, they may just let it slide.

You can call USCIS and follow the prompts to "if you believe there is a problem with your case" or something like that.... y

ou will get an officer and you can explain the situation to them and ask if it will be a problem.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.

I don't think it will be a problem. Since you have your US passport they will be able to find it. You don't need to worry about that. And like "Y's_habibitk" said the worst thing it could happend is only an RFE.
