Recieved NOA1 for I-129F/K3 (New form)

I received NOA1 today for I-129F that I sent on 6/19. The check was also cleared today. But I am not able to check the status online. Is this normal?

you have to register first

I have registered and am able to check the status of I-130. But not able to check the status of I-129F. Getting the following error.

Validation Error(s)

You must correct the following error(s) before proceeding:

Status for this Receipt Number cannot be found at this time in this automated system. Please check your case receipt number to see if it is correct. If you have questions or concerns about your case status, please contact the service center where you submitted your application.

Either you entered in the number wrong, the wrong number, or it is having a system error now. Make sure you use the correct #, and try again in a day.

03/30/06 - Five days in Barranquilla, got Engaged!

05/20/06 - Vacation and Civil Wedding in Barranquilla... Newlyweds!!!!

08/02/06 - Upcoming week in Barranquilla with my Love!

CR-1 Process (I-130)

05/30/06 - I-130 sent to USCIS Texas Service Center

06/02/06 - I-130 received by USCIS Texas Service Center

06/22/06 - NOA1 notice date

06/26/06 - NOA1 received, Check was cashed, Touched

06/27/06 - Touched

K3 Process (I-129F Spouse)

06/26/06 - I-129F sent to USCIS Chicago

06/27/06 - I-129F received by USCIS Chicago

07/??/06 - Uhhh...where is that darn NOA1?

Yes it can be normal. It can take a while for the case to show up online...there is always the chance that it will never show up online, as has happened to many members past and present. Be patient and just keep checking. Hopefully it shows up soon for you as I do know the importance of being able to see the online status as at least you feel some connection....nothing worse then being totally blind...this process is hard enough as it is.

Thanks aussiewench. This is the only way we know if the case is touched and the LUD. Hope it shows up real soon.

6/08/06 : Sent I-130

07/12/06 : CIS Cashed check and assigned a Case# to my I-130

07/17/06: Received NOA1!

I-129F

07/18/06 : Sent I-129F (New form that includes IMBRA Question)

07/26/06 : Recieved NOA1!

aUSC, could you please share your timeline for I-130? I'm assuming you must've gotten your I-130 NOA1 recently as you filed the I-129F also recently, and in that case I just wanted to get an idea of how long it takes for the I-130 to clear. Thanks.

Thanks everyone for your response. I AM ABLE to check my case status online today and I have added it to my portfolio. Now I have to keep checking for LUD changes to keep hope alive.
